My first day was last Thursday, August 26. *sigh*
Actually, it was pretty fun. I'm a sophomore in high school now, so I already knew everyone and my way around the school, and could sort of relax a little instead of being all hyper-tense like I was as a freshie.
A lot of my good friends are in most of my classes, but some others aren't in any at all, so I guess it balances out. Mostly I like my schedule, except that I kind of have to run all over the place.
I'm taking two AP classes this year, so we'll see how that turns out.

Wow, I can barely even remember my first day of middle school anymore. My old middle school locker doesn't even exist anymore, it got ripped out my freshman year when they gutted and remade the interior of the building (while we were taking classes in it

I just started my last semester on uni. campus, next semester I'm off to student teach. I think that shall be the scariest first day of school of my entire career.

I don't get my schedule until the first day, so I won't know if I got into the classes I signed up for.

Mine is on Thursday.
Ironically, I might very well have even more time on Neopets at school as opposed to the holidays, because I have a part-time job at the computer lab there, and when I'm not helping people, I can go on the computer! Hours and hours of Neopetty joy!

Aaah middle school.. i wish i was back in that carefree environment *cough*
my first day was a month ago tomorrow. oh yes. fun stuff. i'm taking 2 ap classes, and 4 honors classes i believe. it's fun though. honors/ap teachers usually have more personality because they don't have to deal with the kids that don't care.

So true, so true. That's why I take all the honors classes I can.
Meep. I started school Monday. It is very scary having two periods in a row (and it's going to be all year) with sophomores and juniors and seniors...Meep! *is a freshman*

I don't start until the 9th. I haven't heard from school since I got out I don't have my homeroom, schedule, locker, or anything. I don't mind though. It was like that last year ^^; Oh yeah, I'll be a sophmore. I'm supposed to take 2 honors classes, but my school is a mess so I'm not sure if I got them or not. *stabs Honors Geometry* Not like I want them anyways...

I start school next tuesday, September 7th. I look forward to it, I know I got all my classes (Found out in the middle of Grade 10 for Grade 11). Hopefully this year is better than last year.

I also start next Tuesday, going into grade 10. However, we're the pioneer year (in other words, the guinea pigs) for the school board and the school's new policies, which includes having to gain 80 instead of 52 credits to graduate, create a portfolio, more work experience hours, more PE, a new course which forces us to give up an elective, more exams...ugh. And last but not least, I won't find out about my schedule until the first day. Aaaaarggghhh.

Aw, Yoshi, you poor thing. At least you aren't in two classes that are teaching the same subject or a math class that even a five year old could pass with flying colors. >.<

Woah, thats alot of Honors and AP classes, I can't imagine how much homework you might have. >.<
I started on august 24th and the first day was exiting for me. I'm a freshman in high school so everythings new, it took me more than 10 minutes to find my first class.
that was actually really fun, me and my friend were walking back and forth trying to find the class before the bell rings, really exiting.. especially when no one knows where it is. I love high school, I can't even say why, I wanted to go back to middle school, but now, I just want to stay in high school. There is so much more freedom and the rules are 100 times better. Now I can wear flip flops, chew gum, have a cell phone, have my own locker, wear tank tops and have lunch at the same time as everyone else. Maybe I have more homework, but thats ok, I don't care, as long as my friends are there with me, I will continue to think that high school is awesome.

No first day for me until Wednesday, the eighth. At what point, I will no longer sleep, and instead...not. Four of five of my classes are Honors, and the one that isn't is the most time-consuming of them all. Fortunately, it's only until November. Maybe then I'll get some electives.

Me too, but the first today is today. So I hope I got into alot of the ones I wanted, or I'm just gonna drop down and cry...something like that. If I get ones I dont want or a teacher I dislike, that's me stuffed for two years, or something.;
