Morningstar, our minds think alike! I had the same thought -- while trying to get even more people signed up and "addicted" to the site like many of us, they neglected to consider what even more people trying to get on the site would do to the *cough* new, improved servers.

Ok, now if you and I both thought of that, why didn't they? Or, hey, maybe they did and because the site is "free," they just don't care (although they are shooting themselves in the foot by doing so).

I know last night it was running weird, like it would run fine then all of a sudden start taking 5 minutes for a page to load. Also, kept losing my connection and had to keep signing back onto the internet.

And when it is running weird like that, you are bound to lose items during the glitches.

If it keeps acting up like it did yesterday, I might as well quit right now. I first lost 99,999 on my main account due to a shop glitch in the morning and then last night my secondary account got reset to what it looked like two days ago--meaning zero profit for anything I bought and then sold on that account during those two days. Ouch! With a profit margin like that, I will need to file for "Neobankruptcy" soon. :wink:

Seems to be anytime the Snowager is sleeping--so, it has to be caused by the extra players that come on just at those times. System overload. Grrr!

That is why everything on Neopets is random.

Haha, so we're all just going to keep pressing refresh in desperate hope of Neopets coming back online until we fall off our chairs sideways and have to get taken to hospital, the cemetary or the insane asylum.

Quite! It's also why we restock in hopes of getting a rare item, shop wiz snipe in hopes of getting an ultra-cheap item, why we play scorchy slots in hopes of winning the jackpot, just refresh anywhere in hopes of a fantastic random event... Neopets seems to have fixated on randomness as a means of getting pageviews.

Anyhow, down this morning, so I went to sleep. Down when I wake up, so I guess I'll try and do something productive today instead of refreshing to the almighty ENT (It's Evil) today.

Luckily, I just printed out everything I had in my inventory, shop and my plushie gallery along with nps on my accounts.

That way, I suppose, I can cry when once again a strange glitch takes some of them away.

I only wish I had thought to take one of my advent calendar gallery (every thing from every year since it started) before 1/2 of it disappeared. If, for no other reason, but to put in my scrapbook and show my great-grandkids some day.

I was playing kreludan mining when it went down and didn't send my score until I was sure it was up!

I'm so excited about my score too! 2760! That's gotta get me a gold medal!
