Order of the Phoenix. I loved how dark it was compared to the other four books.

AZKABAN! AZKABAN!

Probably just because of my love for Hippogriffs (mythology buff)... but I loved the third book. :)

I love Sirius and Lupin, therefore I love Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. :D Not only does my book resemble the remains of The Monster Book of Monsters, a big part of the middle section of the book fell out. Dx

A close second would be the 5th book. I laughed. I cried. I hated it to pieces at the end.

I loved the Prisoner of Azkaban. The first time I read it, the ending not only knocked me off my seat in shock, but also completely changed my view of literature. I had never been surprised by the ending of a book before that (its not that they were predictable, they just didn't have anything that was supposed to be a surprise) Now I'm more excercised predicting the ending of books much to my misfortune. I like being shocked :P

Azkaban.... there were just soooo many clues to other parts of the plot that you just don't notice. It's pretty cool.

I can't say I have a favorite book, but I have comments on each one.

SS - This was great, really becasue it introduced you to the whole world. I love the puzzle-like plot from "Through The Trapdoor" and on.

CoS - I always loved this because of how cool it was to figure out everything. And the part when they discover it was Moaning Myrtle... classic.

PoA - Never liked this one. I'm not a fan of Sirius, which may be it, nor am I too much of a Lupin fan. Nonetheless, the whole Time Turner sequence is excellent.

GoF - This *may* be my favorite, but I'm not sure. The first and second tasks are AWESOME, but I hate the whole Voldemort thing at the end. Don't ask why, I'm just weird like that.

OotP - I guess this is my favorite, but it scared me. Like, it didn't *scare* me, but Harry did. The whole veil thing, though, got me a bit confused... and I'm glad nobody I liked died. :)

PoA is my favourite, followed by OotP.

I like Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban the best, well so far. :D

Probably CoS or GoF. I enjoyed the tasks in GoF, and plus the ending part with Voldemort was pretty interesting. I've always like CoS, though I'm not sure why.

I've never liked PoA much.

I didn't like OotP or SS as much as GoF or CoS but they're alright.

#1 - PoA! Why? Because that's where Harry discovers family.

#2 - SS/PS, because that's where it all started... IMO it's also the funniest one. And least dark since the real threat doesn't even start until near the end, where some sort of danger starts of every other book (except maybe CoS, but the petrifications start rather early..)

#3 - OotP, longest and therefore most Harry Potter goodness! Plus it's not written for kids to read anymore; the language and style is definitely for an older audience.

#4 - GoF, second longest!

#5 - CoS. Ugh. I thought this book was pointless, in that it didn't add anything to the overall plot of Harry vs. Voldemort. Of course, I'm wrong, because apparently CoS will be very important for HBP.[/i]

Prisoner is my favourite, because it had Sirius, and he's my favourite character. I wouuld probably like Order, exept for the small fact of Sirius'death! *cries*

Mon Sep 20, 2004 11:21 pm

Order of the Pheonix. I never liked the character that died, so I was happy when he died. But, I have to admit that I cried over Harry's reaction. He had found something he never thought he would ever have, and then it was... gone. I was depressed for a long time over that one.

This is a really hard poll, me being such a HP freak. Not the second, that one was my least favorite. Probably #4 or 5. I liked the Tri-Wizard tourney a lot.

2 scared me the first time I read it O_o.

I didn't like Chamber of Secrets very much - my least favourite, probably, although I'm not keen on Philosopher's stone either.
Chamber of Secrets just felt so pointless, and it's so short. i don't care if it's full of vital facts about the rest of the plot, that book stinks :P
