How did people not know who Johnny Depp was before Pirates of The Carribbean? He was in lots of great films before that! Sorry! I've loved Johnny Depp for years. He's a great actor. :D *calms down*

Anyway, I thought The Dish was going to be really dull and boring, but I got into it, and in the end I loved it, it's a great film. :D

I've always been a huge fan, but now a bunch of screaming twits have jumped on the bandwagon.

TBH, I thought that "The Village" was going to be s-so, but it turned out to be brilliant!

Good to hear you were a fan of Johnny Depp, pre-Pirates Of The Caribbean, Fidds. :) People say how they love him now, and there's this whole "OMG, I luv Johnny so much, he roxors" blah. I mean he's been around for years, and years, being a great actor, and gah it just annoys me. That's why I'm a bit iffy about the film Pirates Of The Caribbean itself. I must say though, Johnny is most excellent in Edward Scissorhands, From Hell and Ed Wood. (Not that he isn't excellent in other films, but those are my personal favourites) :D

Oh dear, I've rambled.

Finally, someone with prior knowledge of Johnny Depp! And no, I'm not one of the screaming girls waiting to molest Johnny Depp, and in fact, I'm not a girl at all, yet I still admire Depp's work. He was fantastic in Edward Scissorhands, and Ed wood.

Image I Feel Asleep!

Anyone who understood the "The Matrix Trilogy" is a nihilist.

JP Hogan's Peter Pan. I thought it would just be a bunch of violence and such, but it turned out to be one of my favorite movies. I think they just had a bad advertisement manager.

Eh, that's how most people are lately. I don't think it's that no one knows about the great films he was in pre-Pirate garb, but they seemed to be obsessed with that character in general. The fact that Johnny Depp played him just makes them like the character even more.

Without a Paddle. I thought it was going to be dumb. All of the previews looked incredibly stupid. But my friend wanted to go see it, so we went....and it was decent! I mean, it was funny, but it actually wasn't just a completely stupid movie. It had a purpose, and a message, even!!!

Wow. And you know, you get to see Matthew Lillard without his shirt for half the movie! And Seth Green's in it....and he's just great!

Braveheart is my BIGGEST. I figured, "Oh.. some annyoying war movie dad likes. Ugh." at first. (Well, not really. The first time I heard of it I was like three and my parents hired a baby-sitter so they could go see it at a friend's house or something. I thought it was *dragoheart*, which I had spotted in the rental section of King Soopers and really wanted to see, so I kept begging to go. Obviously I didn't get to go.)

But anyway, a movie where if anyone mentions it, someone says in a corny voice "freedommm" is not usually the movie I'd like to see. But in this case, holy wow. I have NEVER chickened out of seeing a movie all the way through before, and I did when they killed off Murron, I was so blinking scared. The next morning I *did* watch it all the way through, and it is now tied with ROTK EE for favorite movie (I KNOW I'll love ROTK EE.)

Chocolat. I expected sappy love movie where man decides chocolate is the best present, wins girl, they kiss too much. (That was GOING to be a movie, I took an internet surver about it, I swear). But I got a nice movie involving imaginary kangaroos and gypsies! Yaay!

King Arthur. Expected CRAP. Got an OK movie. Nuff said.

Finding Nemo. Expected "lookie me I belive in myself yay" disney junk. Got a fun, amusing movie. (Then again, after you watch it three times in spanish, which I swear has the same voice actors for everything...)

Shrek. Expected "Hey look here I'm 3d! Worship me!" stuff... it's one of my favorite movies!

Yeah, that's all I can think of right now.

Ella Enchanted.. I thought it would be kind of.. meh. I only desided to watch it because of Anne Hathaway and I was bored. But, I really, really liked it. Not to mention Aidan McArdle (Slannen) is a riot. :P

Hmmm..I haven't seen that and don't want to, it looks like they've totally screwed it up, and messed with the book. -_- Oh, and waddya mean? You are Anne Hathaway. :P

I'm probably in the vast minority here, but I actually really enjoyed 'Daredevil'. I'm so buying the Director's Edition DVD tomorrow ^_^

If I was Anne, I would be rich.. I'm not rich. :P (I'm not a fan anymore anyways.)

Matrix 3, thought it was gonna be awesome and it was, special effects wise. The whole movie was a fricken battle, not that i have a prob with that it's just it got kinda old. Plus they killed off Trinity in a horribly stupid way.

Shrek 2
Most animated sequels never do the original justice, so I was wary as all heck about this one.

Boy, was I EVER glad to be WRONG! XD

Puss In Boots ROCKS. "Livin' La Vida Loca" ~ so freaking COOL! *laughs* And Donkey & Dragon's kids...adorable! XD

Resident Evil: Apocalypse
After the let-down that was the first movie, I wasn't expecting much. Nemesis blew me away, and the awesomeness of the school kid zombies rocked so much XD Being a fan of the games, my expectations of the first movie were let down pretty badly, so I'm glad to have been proven wrong with this one. Alice kicks arse :D

Man On Fire
Bit slow at the start...absolutely kick-tail by the end. Had to study this film for Multimedia Class and was blown away by its in-your-face camera angles and intricate storyline.

Definitely snagging this one for Christmas...

I really like The Grudge, even though I thought it would be...ummm..overly scary.

I came into the movie scared and thinking that I would die when the horror started.
I came out...dead.

Hope you've had a nice helping of insanity today.
