I've always pronounced Pteri as Puh-teeree.

BTW, I used to pronounce Usul like Uh-sool, but now I know it's You-sool. I also did Kyrii as Ki(as in 'hi')-ree.

Really, now that I've been pronouncing Pteri like I have for so long, I really can't hear it as anything else, but that's just me

I said it without the p. Even though I don't say it out loud a lot but thats the way I think it. :D
I say Mynci like Min-see, but Kyrii, I always pronounce different, because I have no idea how to say it.

Stupid Pteri or Petri from Land Before Time made me end up calling it that :P

i never had problems with pteri, because i assumed it was just like pteridactly because pteris are actually supposed to be from tyrannia *and thats why they have a pteridactyl tail* but assumtions made me mess up on other pronounciations..

like elephante... i always thought it was "ele-fant-ay"... but its really juts pronounced "elephant" like the real animal... but i thought that would be dumb... they dont call lupes "doggs" and quiggles "froggs" or something... i didnt think they would name the pet after the real animal, so i thought they gave it a twist with a "ay" at the end... i still say it like that... and i guess they did name kaus after cows anyway...

another one i still say is "ay-sha"... its supposed to be like "eye-sha" but i until i saw it on a commericial, i thought it was ay-sha....

aaand what else... *im really bad at these pronounciations..* oh yes, the grarrl... the r's are supposed to be silent, and its pronounced "grahl" which is REALLY wierd i think....

i too, always pronounced mynci like "min-see" and techo as "tea-coh" but i guess its "teh-coh"... man, good thing i only have to type their names.. i never say them in real life because i dont have any friends who play neopets... i guess thats a good thing now :)

I pronounce Aisia as -eh sha-.

The Pronounciation guide says Acara is "ack-ah-ra", but I call it "ah-care-ra", then Aisha ("eye-shah") as "eye-ee-sha", Gelert ("gell-ert") as "gee - lert", and Koi ("coy") as "kwah". I never realized I pronounced so many of them wrong. And then Pteri, I call it "puh-terry".

Hehe! This is so nice.

I say "Eye-EE-sha" too, like the girls' name, even though I know it's meant to be eye-sha. I just prefer eye-EE-sha.

Elephante I always thought was.. umm elephant but with a short A sound - so elephant would rhyme with, erm, elly-pant or elly-rant or something :P this isn't making much sense.. normally elephant is pronounced elly-phunt (in england anyway) but I gave the Neopets one an A sound. I don't know why :P

And Eyrie I say airy, can't be doing with that "ear-ree" pronunciation :P

Pteri is ok, I've never had trouble with it. But oh, that Grarrl!! *growls* What an evil word!!!. I had to take speech class when I was in elementry school because my "r"s would sound like "w"'s. So that is one evil word. I don't even attempt to pronounce it lol. I just say "the mean looking G one"

I've known the p is silent for a long time but I still say puhterry. I also say ele-fant-tay, yoo-shall, a-shay, eye-ree, ger-lert, kah, a-car-ra, and mine-see.

Plus I say borro-van, ill-lu-shun, jee-hoo-dor-rah, snow-wager, and yoo-suky.

Wow, I say a lot of things wrong. At least I say tomato correctly!
