Ouch. Tough loss for the Sox last night, 10-7 :( Mussina was perfect through 6 till he gave up a double. Schilling was knocked out early too.

They have to win tonight, or else we'll have to play 6 or 7 games to beat them.

Yeah, win or go home basicially, I watched up to the 5th inning or so, but I think there something more wrong with Schilling's ankle then they wanted to tell us.

Ugh. Another tough loss. 3-1 :(

Sox have the night off then it's back to Fenway for 3. We need to win these next 3 games, or else it's there's-always-next-year for us :(

I think they'll sweep at Fenway, or at least win the first two. Wakey and Bronson are Yankeekillers, although Lowe is a question mark.

Lol yeah. Bronson looks cute with cornrows lol.

Schilling's out for game 5 so Lowe's replacing him. And if we get any farther I hope he's able to pitch. But I'd rather see him out of the playoffs than have him suffer a permanent injury.

Lowe better win.

Lowe looked good in the 'DS game 3.

Tonight's game might be rained out :( Not sure how much rain Boston is gonna get but they said they'll play until it gets bad. If it gets rained out theyll play Monday, if they haven't been swept by then.

If we make it to the WS I'd rather play the Astros.

Go Houston! :P

Not a single Yankee fan other than me, I think.......

I'd like to Houston in the WS, but it probably won't happen. The Cards are really good this year.

The forcast isn't looking good for tonight. Here is a link to weather.com's forcast for the game: http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/s ... 9&epc=WXSP

Edit: Rained out! We'll have to wait another day to extract revenge...

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

Yeah. But this is in a way good. It stops the Yankees momentum, and also gives the pitchers another day to rest. Francona might start Pedro in game 5 instead of Lowe.

Also, I was watching the news a few minutes ago and heard Reebok was making Schilling a special cleat to give support to his ankle. This is good news; he might be able to come in for relief if needed.

I hadn't heard about the special cleat. That would be awesome if he could have anke support. Normally I say the first priority is to heal from an injury and not to risk making it worse. But at this point with the Red Sox so close, it would probably be better to take the risk with Shilling if he can pitch anywhere near how he does normally.

Francona said that Schilling was pitching almost normally in the bullpen session with the special boot I heard that there's even a possibility that he could start game 7, if it goes that far.

At this point we better pray it goes that far... </pessimistic!mindy>

I get reeeally angry and moody when we lose. That's why I've been avoiding this thread. :P

I get angry too. But I'm working on the optimism thing.
