I applaud Tina Fey for not being afraid of Ashlee's people and going ahead and writing jokes about the incident. Bravo! And I think Fey held back; to me the jokes were pretty tame, but they got the job done

That was so funny, I feel sorry for her and all, but things like this could happen. I guess she was just unlucky.

On top of this extreme humiliation, later in the show, Ashlee blamed her band in true diva-style. She said they started playing the wrong song and she just went along with it. In reality, her band was doing the best they could to cover up for the audio guy's mistake. And, thankfully, she's not fooling anyone.
Truly a glorious television moment. I enjoy watching fraudulent careers crash and burn Milli Vanilli-style.

Rofl... MADtv last night made fun of her. The girl looked just like her too... too too funny. She kept blaming everything for her lipsyncing

I was in Miami that weekend with some friends and we were watching it in the hotel room cause we all love Ashlee and we saw that and we were spazzing out. We felt so bad for her

Yup! I saw that as well. Also 'Delicious Morisette' made fun of her as well.

Damn. I missed the Ashlee burning, but I saw the sketch on Delicious Morisette. My brother didn't believe me when I said that was Alanis playing her sister until after the scene. Then I got to say, "I told you so!"

Is that the original clip from SNL or the MadTV sketch? I downloaded it, but only get the sound, so I don't know which it is.

It is the SNL clip I am pretty sure but I only get the sound also.
It's the SNL clip. It's an AVI which explains why people are only able to get the sound. You have to have certain codecs. Luckily I have them ;P
