Padme is from Naboo, I wouldn't see why she would age differently...In Episode I Anakin was like eight or somehting and she was 14, so shes like 6 years older then him, Anakin was still too young in my opinion a teenager version of hi in the movie would have been much better idea.

Yeah that's what my bf and I were thinking that he was between 7 and 10 and she was like barely a teenager. I just never got over the fact that she stayed the same and he looks completely different. Very unnerving. When I first saw Episdoe I I thought she was much older and when I saw Episode II, I was really confused lol

Well, I'm obviously a big Star Wars fan, and I was disappointed with Episodes I and II...they were too slow and different from IV, V, and VI. Episode III won't be good because Lucas will have to fit so much into 1 movie to make the transition to IV. It looks like Lucas' affinity for Wookies will finally show in Revenge of the Sith...but I'm not really looking forward to that.
I like the Expanded Universe now, with all those books and games and stuff. Again, the prequels are just too different.

The only redeeming quality of ep. II was the Yoda fight scene. I stood up and clapped when that happened ^^

I have to say that I feel a lot like such. I look at the prequels as good films, but they stand alone in comparison to the original trilogy.

episode 4: pfft, dont see the appeal.
5: well it had hoth i guess?
6: oh looky, luke beaten by vadar, vadar beaten by luke, luke beaten by emperor, emperor beaten by vadar. joy.

1:....it had gungans dying i guess?
oh and the best bit of any star wars, obi-wan dead jedi guy VS darth maul, with good VS evil in the background :D

2:...it had some cool (and many not-so-cool) battle droids.

3: well we know we have lotsa jedi getting killed (all but two, i assume you know which two) and capital ship battles.
im happy.
and jar-jar's in only one scene according to the original script (though its changed somewhat, he was only originally in it once, we can hope he sticks to that bit)

anyways, i have a qoute for yall.

I think a lot pf people are gonna dislike this movie because of ine simple thing: They're absolutely dead set on hating it no matter how good it is.

Hoping it'll be him getting blown up in a non-comical fashion?

Apparently one of the early scripts for Episode II had Jar-Jar getting assassinated. Probably just a rabid fan's dreamchild, but you can't help but wonder . . .

well as the original scripts for all six films were made some 30 years ago, and i have a dubious access to them.
(jar-jar wasnt so stupid if memory serves)

I think the major problem with Episode 1 was Lucas wanted to change up the formula of Star Wars movies, and lost the trust of his audiance. The movies have always had lame dialogue, but the actors had that late 70's ability to take camp and make it good.

I wasn't impressed with the acting in either Episode 1 or 2-- I stand by the opinion that greenscreen/bluescreen acting is usually unsatisfactory for the audiance. I think the lack of a concept of the actual "space battles" was disapointing too for many fans, because what was in Episode 1 wasn't very pleasing. The chase in Episode 2 was frantic pitch, which made me happy... but I wanted more in space XD.

That said, I can't wait for Episode 3. Wookies, Vader, Yoda, Space Battle, Emperor-- I'll be happy even if the movie sucks. I'm too big of a star wars geek to think otherwise XD.
