Well, Bill Watterson (Calvin and Hobbes author) used to live in my town while he was writing the comic. He moved to a town near mine when he quit writing, though.

And I live near Cleveland, Ohio, and I think Macy Gray's from Cleveland...

This random dude from Byker Grove is from a place quite close to my town. Does that count? He's kinda famous. Slightly. An ickle bit.

Ditto here. Did you see the Scene Magazine about mid-summer that had a quasi story about him? Waterson's laying extremely low, but there are still a few reported sightings of him.

Plenty of people in LA, but in where I am specifically...

Well, where I am now, no one I've ever heard of. However, in Calabasas (where I went from kindergarten to fifth grade in), some of Linkin Park, or at least the drummer, lived there. Incubus went to high school there, or something like that. Jessica Simpson lives there now. Also, someone named Shiri Appleby, but I don't know who she is, she came up in a google. :P
