Subconscious Computer Habits

I always have to have at least 2 IE windows open, one with whatever and one on the home page (Verizon), so if someone comes I can easily shut the one with the site I'm on and then shut other windows.

Also I need to have my AIM buddy list button on the task bar at farthest point right as possible. Don't even ask why.

I lean back and put my foot on the wall because it's right there.
I also always read my friend's away messages even if I know they didn't change it.

Don't know if this counts, but I always have music playing, even if I'm not listening to the lyrics, it's always playing. If I pause/stop it and go back on, I'll suddenly realise about 10 minutes later there's no music. Tis odd.

Ah, me too. I'm always listening to music on the computer. It feels too quiet and creepy when I'm not.
Another subconcious thing I do, is when I first get on, I always open two IE windows (one for Neopets one for PPT). Sometimes when I only need to have one I open two and I'm like "D'oh!"

I do both of these too! Except not only do I do the music thing on the computer, but I do it any time I listen to music and it stops.

I do that also. It just makes this sound.... I also sit on my legs, which isn't really a good thing because 1) I have long legs, and it starts to hurt for a while, and 2) because our computer chair is broken, so there's not much room under the desk for that extra length...

I always put my leg on the pullout keyboard. It's super low, and then I can rest my hand on it for faster typing. It's actually starting to crack from me doing it so often.

I always bring up extra tabs in Firefox and bring up SWCombin, Deviantart and Gfxartist, yet usually don't even click on them the whole time on the internet.

I highlight text as I'm reading it. It's almost caused fights before, people get so annoyed by it.

Um.. I type http://www.neopets.com into the adress bar instinctivly.. Neopets' brain washing us all! :O

I end up having around 10 tabs open in Mozilla.. Even when I'm not using 2/3s of them. xD

Sometimes when I'm reading topics I'll just be scrolling down and messing with my glasses and when I want to reply I realize what I'm doing and keep doin git until I decide I've messed with my glasses enough.

Also, whenever I play music, after a few seconds I have completely blocked out the music and I don't realize it's stopped playing until a few minutes after it's done playing.

Edit: This isn't on my computer, but something very strange I do sometimes is that sometimes I'll go to the bathroom and close the door and instead of washing my hands if I need to, I'll get my toothbrush out and start putting toothpaste on it. I've never accidently brushed my teeth that way, but I've gotten pretty close before I realize what I was doing. XD

Lately, I've been constantly checkng my email. I've almost always had a window open which I refresh every so often. Occasionally I forget one is open and open another one. O.o

I move my mouse around in circles. I dunno why. Fun to watch the cursor, though.
