Alternatively, you could just go to temple for your bat mitzvah, and ask everyone to wear lighter clothing and to turn up the heat a bit. Bring some tan stones for effect.

Ahaha, reminds me of a story my grade 8 science teacher told me once. He was at the Can-US border, and he saw these Americans in their cars all dressed up in ski jackets, with scarves, skis...everything...in the summer! XD
