Moogie: Wow, its really pretty, I love what you did to the image. The only problem I see with it, is that it fades too fast so the sides look really plain. Oh and the text on the left is really hard to read, I think you should have it facing the other way.

Koku: I really really like the colors!! The shades of green and blue you used look beautiful together. The background also goes perfectly with the girl, I love it! I like the av with out the text more, it looks less busy and nice that way. :)

Can anyone rate?

Darklegendary: wow, that set's really good. i love the way you have the curved border at the top but not the bottom. I cant say anything about colours coz this monitor is seriously messed up, but i like the way you've put the girl at different angles in the sig and av. The only driticism i have is that the pixel font you've chosen it quite hard to read (although for some reason i quite like it how it's all caps except the letter i)

Darklegendary- Hm. I think the picture is much too light. You can only really see the outline of things, such as the hair and the eyes, but no detail. The main text, I think, stands out too much- maybe make it a bit smaller? I do like the sizes of the signature and avatar, though. They suit the amount of image well. The colors are nice and all match. I'll give it a 6.5/10.

Ratings Board Rules:

1. Keep your criticism constructive.
2. You must give/get ratings at a ratio of at least 1:1, that means for every graphic you ask for ratings on, you must rate at least one other. And I mean a meaningful, well-thought out rating, not just a number or "that's good."
New Addition: These numbers do not stack up. If you rated two sets and asked for one rating, you cannot make a post later asking for one free rating because you rated earlier.
And be good about your ratings, if I see continue to see many ratings that simply say "that's good" in many words, I will raise the ratio to 3:1.

3. You may not ask for ratings on work that you did not make.

To get you all started again, try the end of the last split, or you can go ahead and rate my new set.

Darklegendary - I like it, but it's awfully bright between the image and your name, right above the subtext, and around your name on the avatar. Other than that, it's really excellent though. I like the text especially.

Rate this set? I'm just starting off, so I'm not very good yet and need some suggestions. :)

 Sorry, didn't realize that there were rules about asking for ratings. Guess that I don't need a rating.

Sock: i really like it, i like how you've gone for the black and white image but got some colour in there with the text. the swirls in the background at a bit distracting tho. (remember i'm looking at it on a VERY odd monitor - for example i cant even see that it says sock on the sig that i made you (i wouldnt know if i hadnt made it!!)

I like this set. The colours are nice and vivid. The text stands out. Everything goes well together. I give the set an 8.5/10.

Can someone rate this blend I recently made, please and thanks?

Bluehawaii19- Very nice. The colorizing is done very cleanly. I like the grungish look. However, the text that says 'Kelly Osbourne' is a bit hard to read. Maybe make it a shade darker? Otherwise, nice job. 8/10

Rate my *first* blend?

Darklegendary :: o0o Very beautfful set. I also like the curving on the top and not on the bottom. It makes the set really.... unque in a way. I think if the border was the same color as the main text, it would look nicer. :D Everything looks all dreamy and foggy. Hehe. I like it. The text on the av is a bit hard to read since you made it vertical. I think the sig will look nicer if the main text was cursivey. Maybe that's just me. Overall, really nice set. I lub it. ^^

Sock :: I agree with r4che1. The swirls make the pic distracting. Maybe you should erase the swirls where the girl is. So the swirls only show in the background and not all over the girl. The pixel text looks a bit blurry. Uhh is it anti-aliased(or however you spell it)? You can try addng a white border along the side of the black one. Example ::

Image

It might make it look nicer. ^o^; I like black and white things. It looks so cool. XP Overall, it's a pretty decent set. :]

Cause I'm a little tired, I'll go random-rating...

Sock: Mm, very nice for starting out. A few suggestions- either remove the swirls, place everything in colour to complement them, or shrink your character, and perhaps use a different font for "Sock" in your sig (it took me awhile to actually figure out it was your name). Shrink the subtext a little so it won't be so blurry too, I guess.

Darklegendary: Very nice! The light colours may be a tad light, as some others have said (and my monitor has pretty low brightness, too). Just turn up the contrast a little and/or the brightness down. The border's also a little fuzzy at the curved edges, and the colour seems a little unmatching to the lightness inside (albeit it's the same colour as the text, which is fine). Great job though.
<hr>
Any ratings on my new set would be appreciated. However, since it's dealing with a sensitive subject, please keep all ratings technical for it. Everything (all four still frames in the sig, the av picture, and the fonts) was hand drawn, except the av border which I got from Marissa, who got it from someone else I think...shame I can't credit. Oh well.

Hi guys. I haven't spoken in months, but I just got into photoshop and where else to turn to then PPT :)

Following the rules:

Darklegendary: I like your work a lot. If there is one thing I wouldn't want to see is the whiteness. It kinda distracts from the person.

Sock: The black and white set is really great. I would have to agree with teh distraction, maybe lowering the opacity of the swirvy lines a bit would help. If I can amke a sugestion: Maybe adding on thing in the set a color and making the text that same colour as well. As in making maybe the eyes blue and the rest black and white, besides that text of caurse.

Apologies if that was done wrong :( It's my first time rating...

Now if I can possibly ahve mine rated as well:

I think I'll rate one. Cause I feel like it.

Random Havoc: The set is lovely, I like the image very much. :) The scanlines are a nice touch, but they're a bit on the heavy side. Lowering the opacity on them a little would do a lot for the set. It might also look nice if the scanlines were more faded out when crossing over the faces of the characters, just so that you could see them more clearly, but still have the scanlines in the background to fill up some of the empty space. I like the text, although the font doesn't quite seem to fit, to me. A pixel font would do very well on this set, I think. A slightly thicker border might be better, too. Don't be afraid to experiment some. :)

I have me a new set. First, ratings. =D

Havoc: What's the image URL of the Faerie? I've been trying to find it. Anywhoo, I really like it. However, the scanlines are a bit heavy, like Ap said. You did a great job blending! Even though black borders don't really go with sets, this one seems to. Like Ap also said, don't be afraid to experiment. All of the graphics makers of PPT go to where they were by experimenting.

Yoshi: Holy. Doggie. Bladders. I was about to ask you what font you used for your sig, but if it's all hand done, it wouldn't help! =D There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it. It's all perfect!

Dawn: That's your first blend?! No fair! OK...are you still using ImageMagick? The reason I'm asking is...I thought you were using PSP. I stink at blending. :( Good job!

-------------------------------------------------------

I made a new set last night I would like rated.

I'm sorry it's dithered. The only way I could keep the file size down (the avatar was orignally animated, but I decdied it was too much) was to mess with the optimization wizard on Animation Shop 3. And if you're getting dizzy, here's the non-animated version. It just didn't turn out like I wanted it to, though. :(
