I thought it was hilarious, but the sequeal doesn't look too good. It looks like one of those sequeals that just recycles a bunch of jokes and gags fom the original. If I'm wrong and it's really good then that'd be great, but I don't have my hopes up.
I hear ya, that was my prediction too. We've had way too many comedy sequels (*COUGH*bridgetjones'sdiary2*COUGH*) that just recycled the same jokes from the first. And according to the reviews (which are abysmal), this is yet another. By the way, I should give a warning that several critics have said this movie deserves an "R" rating, not "PG-13," if it matters.
I can agree with the rating thing, many of the jokes were not PG-13 suitable. But they were few, and some were obscure enough to where it wouldn't attract much attention. Everytime I heard the honk of Jack (Rober DeNiro)'s RV, I laughed my head off, though you'd have to see Meet The Parents to get it.

Eh. I saw it on Saturday night, and it was just okay. There were some parts that had me cracking up, but the majority just wasn't great. I had hoped the Fockers would be funny, but they were too... normal.

I just saw this movie with my two friends and I was expecting it to be corney because the way they advertise it on tv makes it look like there trying to be hard to be funny...but I was very much surprised at how funny it was. My friend thought i was better than the first but I beg to differ.

Just saw it...very slapstick. I'd recommend it for people 13+ because of some uh...themes. I loved it...not more than Meet the Parents, but I guess I liked it as much as the other movie. I reccomend it

. Lots of little jokes in there.

My 14 year old sister saw it a few days ago with her new boyfriend.
My parents and I saw it tonight.
I feel like I need to take a shower or something. O_o *shudder*
Ha! You should have seen the look on her face though. She was like....cowering and on the verge of crying when we walked through the door because she knew that we were going to give her a hard time. She must have been praying that the theater would burn down or something.
"I can't believe you sat through that!" ~ Me
"You're only watching 'G' movies from now on."
"MOM!"
Of course none of us were mad. She has handled the whole thing very well but that film had a lot of mature things to deal with. And despite the fact that she's not talking dirty now, I think she was still very uncomfortable watching it. It's just too much at her age.
Ever since POTC and LOTR my parents have been more lenient with the PG-13 films. If we had seen the movie before she did, I'm sure they would have suggested a different film. So now I guess mom will be relying more on her two 17+ daughters to scope out these things.
Other then that......I had a good laugh. The concept made a plausible sequel. But the first one was just so much more fun to watch.

this is unfair. in singapore, it's been rated Nc-16 *under 16 not allowed*
ALL due to sexual references or humour or something of the sort...
heck what they DON'T realise that we've actually heard them before, heck we even created some! i managed to sneak pass the management bcos i was late with my older cousin. i made her buy the tickets. i feel so guilty for breaking th law but i can't stand to have to wait a couple of months to legally watch it! the movie is hilarious, esp te part where the little dog erm..humped that squeaky toy!

That's a fair rating. It shouldn't of been rated PG-13.

Its a good comedy seqeul.. lol
I agree.. I went to see it and after the movie. I was like "i cant believe they rated this pg13". I think it shoulda been rated 14a or 18a.
Anyways.. i was laughing at the begining to the nearly end of the movie. Every second is funny!
It was cute how the cat flushed the dog down the toilet hehe!

I like Meet the Parents better, it's similar to Ocean's Twelve, Ocean's Eleven is better than Ocean's Twelve.

Cant decide whether to go see the movie or not. Lots of people say its good but i don't know. The second movie usually sucks. Maybe this one is an exception
