Why isn't gamecube on the list? I love platformer games like Viewtiful Joe and Sonic Adventure, which is why I got one. Of course, PS2 has those games, as well (but sonic heroes instead of sonic adventure), and has some really nice titles in each catagory. I'd probably go into a rant about Super Smash Bros. Melee (because that game is rockin'!), but it's not an option. So... Unless you're in one of the the X-box cults (yes, they are CULTS!) you should get a PS2. It has a nice selection of games, some of which may fit your taste.

It's gotta be PS2! Only because im a PS2 fanboy tho. I do think the Xbox is great, just not as good as good ol ps2

Xbox. Because my brother has one, and because it's got DDR. That's the only video game I care to play, and I hardly ever play it anyways.

Well I'm going to say XBOX. I've never really been a video game person but one of my friends has a PS2, the other an XBOX and I have to say I prefer the XBOX's controller although I admit that the PS2's game selcetion is very tempting over the XBOX. Buuut I prefer XBOX as a personal choice.

You're getting a new system... because yours isn't popular? o.0 I have a gamecube and nothing else, and I'm PERFECTLY happy with it. Also, it's not exactly unpopular. It's cometing with x-box as 2nd place, because PS2 is the clear winner by so much.

PS2. X-Box has good games but PS2 has Kingdom Hearts. Gamecube is alright. The only good thing about it is the Mario series is released on it. That's it.

What about Sonic? Or Megaman.... Wait, megaman is also on PS2. Well, most of the games for all systems are shared, but ones like Mario and Sonic Adventure series games are for gamecube-only. Like how Halo is X-box only.

No. Sonic is on PS2. Ever hear of Sonic Heroes for PS2? I have it.
