9/11 was also nothing compared to the tsunami if you look at loss of human life.

I never said it was. But still...I'm enjoying watching this...I turned that off after 5 minutes. I don't think the calibur of the tragedy should determine the celebrities that show up :P

Hehe. :P

I loved it though. So purdy. <3

I guess he could have sang You Raise Me Up too. I was kind of figuring he'd sing that, because I forgot about TWYR. :P

EDIT: Norah did nice too. :D

Oh.. and I think our birdies are singing with the TV. :P

If he would have sang You Raise Me Up I would have started bawling. That WAS one of mom and dad's songs. o.o

I'm told on good authority you are by my friend rachael, who is half australian, half maltese (or something) and used to live there (and her family still do). She said Oz is addicted to telethons and then she kept listing more and more and more...

I know of... er... one telethon that we have annually. I can't think of any others that we have though. o_O

My dad brought up a good point...people all over the world are homeless and are without clean water and their family members have died. Why not donate money to them? :>

I feel the same way. Many people are dying in our very own country from being homeless, having no food, or the proper medicine and we are not helping them out. The main reason people are even helping out is becuase of the news coverage and celeberty exposture,

Okay, so, how many people died on that day? ~2000? I'm not sure, I didn't really pay attention to everything. It was just another terroist attack to me. [Even though much and much worse than your average suicide bomber..] But really, 9/11 is nothing compared to the tsunamis.
