Belgium only has a load of sissy-weather

You'll find the real cold stuff back in Finland (supposively it hasn't gotten that cold this year yet though, somewhere at -20* C I think)... unfortunately, I'm stuck here in the middle of Europe with just a load of rain and stuff

Mmm... it's only minus 15.
*hugs outside* Warm up... warm up! I need to buy groceries!
Mon Jan 17, 2005 3:21 pm
About 27 *C here... and that's considered cooling.

meh. it's chilly here, but not supremely cold. we had freezing rain two nights ago but now it's all lovely and warm-ish. I was hoping for freezing rain/snow tonight, so we wouldn't have school tomorrow.

I MISS SUMMER. it's such a pain in the butt to be out at the barn in the winter. it's cold, and the horses are all blanketed or fuzzy or both. it'll be so much easier in the summer. plus we won't have to feed them as much because there'll actually be grass in the pastures instead of knee-deep mud.

In china, 20 or so degrees farenheit is a day for the beach. In japan 20 or so is a day for hot sake. In australlia, 20 or so degrees is the end of the world!

I neglected to mention I live in the Mid-Southern United States. With wind chill factored in we have been at 8 degrees F here which works out to -13.333 C or 259.667 Kelvin. We normal have a fairly mild winter here, but It has gone from cold to hot to suddenly cold again almost as if the weather can't make up its mind.

Well...
The weathers warped.
Not a chinook (darn), but it is +6... and yes... yes I did buy groceries.

Just about all last week it was in the 50's here. Then today when I took my dog for her morning walk, it was -13.

Brrrr. I just finished watching the weather forcast and tomorrow is going to get as low as -15 degrees F. Bleh. I feel bad for my friend because the heating in his house no longer works. Then again, my other friend who drives me to school every morning doesn't have heat in his car. I'm not looking foward to tomorrow's icy drive to school. X.x

'Twas the case just these past few weeks. Lots and lots of snow (which is a little unusual), freezing rain (even more unusual), and temperatures and windchills going below...*drumroll*...
-12ºC.

Broke records from 9 years ago. And alas, the city was a total mess cause we were unprepared.
And now, just two days after the -10ness, we've shot up to positive 6ºC. And in a few more days, it's gonna be (and will stay for quite awhile) in the positive 10s- not just the daily high, but the daily low. Yay for temperateness.

*points and laughs at all the -10s, -20s, and -30s Canadian cities on the weather map*
Yeah...and now it's like...15.5C >.< I swear, I checked. It's CRAZY, it's like summer!!!! *sigh*
And when it snowed...our school yard was a WAR ZONE, haha. SERIOUSLY! Every man for himself!
I can't even count how many times I got face washed *sigh* all the bigger boys loved it, cus I couldn't fight back >.< But then we did mob some of the back *evil grin* But really, it's hard to tackle a grade 12, when you're in grade 10 O.O hehehe.

It's -10F (-23C) at the moment. We also have a winter storm warning until early morning. My second day back in New York and it's already making up for all the cold and snow I missed in Washington. Yay?

Had a chinook i think on thursday(yesterday) which made ALL the snow into slush....yay-.- And now today it froze everything over again, so all the wet slush is now slippery ice of death. Owe the woe to live in alberta. xp

No clue how cold it is here, but we've got 10 inches of snow outside and it's still snowing...
Sat Jan 22, 2005 4:53 pm
we never get snow.
....maybe that's cause we live in a valley on the west coast of the US. ^_^
