Did any one else think the triplets where not over weigh? They where not a size 2 but they are far from a size 20. This is why I turned off the show. It is one thing to comment on the singing but, anyway.
What about the guy from the first show something Braxton? He was horrible. Soooooo bad.

i thought the triplets were super-cute and sounded good. how can simon possibly still harp on weight when clearly that's not what the show's about? reuben anyone? i think the votes have consistently shown that the viewers are in this for the talent, not the looks.

I <3 Cassie Underwood so far. She's the one who said she liked Martina McBride . . .

I haven't watched all of it yet, but I'm starting to really dislike how the judges are handling overweight women.
What the heck was with Simon's comment to that one girl about how she can go talk to the triplets for help? And then the judges ALL laughed????

I mean that girl could freakin sing and they rejected her b/c she was a little big?
And don't even get me started on Randy laughing at the weight thing. How dare that @&^&(_@*!! talk about ANYONE being overweight when he was big himself (and still is a little chunky).

Bleh....

But anywho... I hope they're not going to be focused on looks this season, b/c we really don't need a repeat of the no talent, but attractive *rollseyes*, final 12 like in the first season (minus Kelly that is)

I think this whole "you are so affected" thing is crap...those are probably some of the ones that would make it furthest. I think they shouldn't have rejected that student teacher group. I thought he was really good, and the whole "affected" thing is just getting on my nerves.

Everyone (well not really everyone) out there singing these days is "affected"..Lindsey Lohan or whatever, she reminds me of Britney. Maybe I'm not interpreting what they mean when they use this term, if I'm not, fill me in. I just think it's rubbish, you can find unique talent out there and I understand they are looking for that. However, eventually they people will pick up things they've heard. I thought Fantasia sounded like Macy Gray, and I'm sure the Judges picked that up so why wasn't she "affected".

Some people I agree when they reject them for being "affected" (last season some girl was a britney wannabe, clothing and all) however, some I think though have or could have their own style if given the opportunity to develop.

I think the triplets didn't go through... because they honestly weren't... *sighs* they were a group. It would be hell on them to have one rise over the others (honest) and frankly, I don't think they were that good. They were good. But as a group. I doubt they would've been so good as singles.

I liked the triplets but I agree, there can only be one winner. The weight thing really ticks me off though. Like someone else said, who is he to talk? I thought the other girl could sing too, but I guess they were turned off by her weight. They shouldn't have mentioned it though and hurt her feelings. That was a little too much I think. The teacher Angel, I didn't think could sing all that well, and I actually liked the student more.
Farm Girl Cassie was the best talent I have seen so far out of two episodes, so I am going to be cheering for her unless I see someone else come along. Cassie is pretty and has a good voice and the look of a star, so I think she can do it.

Some of these other people they had on, I just wanted to cringe. I mean, the sixteen year old girl singing Michel Jackson was weird. I think she can do better with training, but she needs to get away from singing like Michel. She had a kind of outgoing personality and didn't seem bothered at all by the cameras, so maybe with help she can pull off a great song. But I'd like to hear her not sing so high next time, and maybe sing something else.

Some of the people had a real ego problem and sucked up to the judges, especially that Adam guy. I mean, he thought he was just saying something nice to each of the judges, but they all started laughing so they took at as him sucking up and he really did carry on too long with it.
They were already tired of him before he sang, which wasn't even good at all.

Then that one guy that kept looking back and they were like "No".."Still no" ..."No we aren't kidding really"..and then they let him try again. That was just hilarious. He was all like "I know I can sing, people tell me I can sing. Everyone tells me I sound like so and so.." That was just bad. If I were him I'd be wondering about those "people" who say he can sing. They need hearing aids or something.

That other ego guy who said he can sing and sang on a cruise ship, well..I think Simon is right about him. He does sound like a guy who sings on a cruise ship and not a pop star idol. He was very arrogant and I almost expected him to attack the judges. He was all like " I know I can sing so there's a problem here. I can't believe this. You HAVE to be kidding." or whatever he said...

I watched it and the Triplets thing was a bit odd. I mean, you could've let them in. Didn't they let in twins in the last season? Twin guys?

But I think someone shouldn't have been accepted like that rapping girl who looked like a guy. When Paula called her a girl I was waiting for her to say, "I'm a guy". But anywho, she had rapping skills but I thought American Idol was for pop singers and not for rappers. Oh well.

The cruise ship guy was annoying. He was like "I'm so good blah blah blah". God. Thank God they rejected him.

The teacher and her pupil was so sad. I mean, the teacher got in but the pupil didn't (Even though he was very good) and she started to ball her eyes out. I felt so bad for her and him.

And honestly, these people who suck have really nice families. Like the guy who said his family said he sounded like Brain McKnight. They set him up for failure. And he kept smiling...Gosh.

And those two losers at the ending who thought they sounded good. I swear, those are your typical nerds.

Anyways, I liked this episode. Only 8 more audition episodes left. When is the next one?

I just watched what I recorded.. and I must say.. the judges were reall irritating me.
I mean one person.. they tell to look more alive, and then they tell that student who came in with his singing teacher that he needed to pretty much tone it down more? What's up with that!? I thought it was entertaining to watch him move around like he did. It looked like he was really getting into it.
I thought he did excellent.

Paula was getting on my last nerve too with that one 16yr old girl. The girl couldn't sing for the life of her, but what was up with the comment about her being the voice of a rat???
Is that supposed to make that girl feel good about herself?

Just UGH!!

And that one farm girl was pretty impressive. I hope she gets far.

Anyways... I can't wait till they get to Vegas... I wanna see if this girl from Columbia made it through heh.

I <3 Mary. She's like, the country version of William Hung and she was hilarious.

Cassie Underwood's voice is awesome, I hope she'll make it to the top 12. :)

Woah, Paula said that? What happened to her being the nice one? Geez. See, this is why I don't watch that show anymore...being a singer myself (I was originally in school for vocal performance) I can't stand what they say to some of these kids. Someone had suggested to me to audition, and I don't think I ever could. I've got a voice, but I'm heavy...I'd probably slap Simon across the face as soon as he brought that up o.o

The assistant cook (and then full time cook... long story, old cook got fired *ROFL*) auditioned for Canadian idol... and got to top 60th.
A band came out and played for the kids at camp, and they got her to go up there and sing... and just wow. IMO she was better then those that got through to the top people in Canadian.. but meh.
*shrugs*
Now what was her name... hrm. Meh. Must not have been important (camp names muck me up).

Umm.. yeah. *shrugs* The judges... are getting cruel. Simon seems to reign over the others, but Paula does fight back on occasion. Randys... just.. meh.
Simons still a jerk, but thats why I watch the show. He's my hero.

Ok.... what was up with all of the attention hookers in this episode?
Like that one guy where you couldn't understand a freakin word he said?
I'm sorry, but all of his flailing around and yelling and the gibberish coming out of his mouth made him look like he was on crack.

This was interesting. A lot of these "singers" sucked. Especially the nerd from the projection room. Thank God no one can hear him.

But honestly, this people need to sing to others to hear if they're good or not. Most of them say they sing to themselves.
