The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

RAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRRRR!!!!
RE-RUNS MAKE ME ANGRY!!!! DAMN YOU, J.J. ABRAMS!! DAAMMMMMN YOUUUUUU!!!!
That was a very awesome episode. Shollia, I was SOOOO angry at Walt's mother. Grrr. Gotta say, pretty glad she's dead.
Hurray for Claire!! I'm willing to bet she had her baby and they took it from her. I mean, it wouldn't be dramatic if she was still pregnant.
*whine* Does anyone know when the next real episode will be? They're not going to make us wait another month, are they? *sob*
Edit: Ok, only 2 weeks. But still. RAWR.
And I can't wait to rewatch the episode and find out what Walt was reading in spanish. I wasn't paying attention last time, but I'm sure it's something important.

I hoped it was Ethan. And I hoped that Locke threw the knife. But no.
I was very disappointed with this episode. Nothing really shocking or
that exciting, in my opinion. Even the whole Polar Bear thing. The only good part was Clairesy.

Same here...there wasn't anything too exciting in the episode
ChromeFox wrote:I didn't notice -- was Claire still pregnant? I forgot to look at her belly. She looked beat-up. If she's still pregnant, what would the point of kidnapping her have been? Unless she escaped.
As Moogum did, I saw the ending twice and I also looked the second time. She seemed to not have her baby but like Moogum said, it is practically impossible to tell.

I agree completly. If she did still have her baby, that Ethan guy would come back again and he just scares me

That was cute to watch, him trying to resist the urge to read her diary/journal whatever ya want to call it heh.

I loved that part too. Its like he wanted to respect her privacy but he just couldn't resist the urge to look to see if she liked him.

Once again...this is prooven true!

Ok, I did some investigating. Pictures are courtesy Lost-media.com
This link shows the best possible shot of Claire coming out of the bushes. It IS dark, but you can see a bit of the outline of her belly against her arm.

(click it for a larger view, makes it a teensy bit easier to see)
This link shows another frontal shot of Claire in the same black shirt. It's impossible to tell she's pregnant from this shot, aside from the fact that she's got her hand pressed against her belly.

Based on the pictures, I have to revise my earlier statement that she's not pregnant anymore. She could very well be pregnant still, it's just really hard to tell. I still sort of think she isn't, just because of the drama factor.

Nice investigating Erin!
I agree with you that she is not pregant...if she was, the whole kidnap thing was pointless.

The bulge on her stomach could just be weight left over from her pregnancy. I doubt most women look like supermodels immediately after giving birth.

I was thinking that exact same thing, I just don't know if they'd be that detailed. Most women who give birth in TV shows revert to their perfect, skinny selves, so I don't know.

Hmmm, a bulge is pretty clear in that picture. But as I said, I think it's intentional that she is wearing black as to hide whether we can see if she's still pregnant. Very good writing if they think that far ahead!
And for some reason I wasn't as angered at Walt's mother as y'all are. The step-dad, however...
I kinda don't like how they use Sawyer when they need something. It just seems to convenient.

Ok, I'm obsessed. Don't laugh too much. I've got a picture of the Spanish comic book Walt was reading. I can't figure out what it means, my Spanish sucks. Something about making a polar bear or eating a polar bear or getting eaten by a polar bear... *shrug*
Anyway:
The text, as best I can read it, is "Wally se pondrá ----- (looks like felíe, but that doesn't mean anything as far as I know) muy cuando sepa que me comió un oso polar"
If anyone here speaks Spanish or has better luck with Altavista's translator than I do, please enlighten me. lol

well i wasn't to impessed the episode was all this crap and they talk about going to the black rock in the end and claire just comes i think it would have been better to watch them save her insted of her just come in and if she still has the baby then the whole thing was point less.
i didn't think that it was her i thot it was danille.I hav to say it was a disapointment

Once again, I'm going to go against everyone and say this is my fave episode so far.
And also that I experienced immense joy when Charlie hit Sawyer on his injured arm.

**screams**
Wally?! Walt! **panics** Walt is evil! And the polar bear's gonna eat someone, and he's gonna be happy about it!
J.J. Abrams is evillllll!
On the upside, Charlie was soooo cute in this episode. When he was trying so damned hard not to read Claire's diary, I just wanted to cuddle him.
And then when he did, and Sayid sorta scoffed at him for it, and he said "I know, I'm bloody scum." AWWWW! **cuddles the scum hobbit**
**blinks** Why are you all looking at me like that?!
Sat Jan 22, 2005 4:10 pm
I swear, Charlie could step on a butterfly, and his fans would still be like "AWWWW! I WANNA HUG HIM!!"
Sun Jan 23, 2005 10:18 am
Charlie is just too cute for anyone to be mad at him
