The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Snape wins by a sound margin, and continues to this round.
From PoA:
Snape
vs.
Hermione
Looks like a close call! Let's see the outcome.
As for me, Snape is probably working for Voldemort more than Dumbledore, and that Occlumency thing... but then, Hermione has SPEW ("Don't kid yourself, Hermione, he knows
exactly what he's saying") and keeps spouting a bunch of psychological nonsense. Er... Hermione got rid of Umbridge, so I choose her.

Snape, Hermione just irritates me... a lot.

Hermione, she does some things that amuse me at times and on top of that she sort of reminds me of some of the people I know.

Hermione, her character is very similar to mine.

Hermione, because she's intelligent. :)

Hermione. It was awesome when she punched Malfoy!

Hermione! She reminds me of myself. Quiet in the corner, will let people step over her, but once she gets mad, oh boy does she get mad.

Plus, without her Harry would be kicked out of school or dead how many times?

Hermione. She was turned into a line-stealing Mary Sue (not uber-Sueish, but Sueish enough) in the movies. She deserves to be redeemed (further redeemed, I mean. She did a darn good job of redeeming herself in the fifth book.).
And JKR said we shouldn't feel sorry for Snape. =D

And yet she tries to make us believe that he's the way he is because he came from a broken home and kids teased him at school... totally undermines his coolness in my book.

I know. He's a cool character, but yet I really want to know why JKR's made him out to be a tragic hero and then goes and tells everyone to not by sympathetic.
Bet he did/is going to do something really horrible (...Aside from being a DE.). Hmm.

Hermione! She's my favorite character ever, and the movies completely ruined her character

Oooh, if it was in the past, I think I might know... Maybe... Snape killed Neville's grandfather? (You have no idea how much effort it took not to go into crypto-mode there.)
I didn't think ANYONE could pwn Snape this badly. Not even my personal faves. We'll still let this last the week, though. Even if next week I choose Dedalus Diggle or something, it'll last a week from now on.

You realize that if you make Dedalus Diggle an option now everyone's going to vote for him, right?
