Team America

Has anyone else seen this film? I personally find it absolutely hilarious. When he comes out with a towel on his head..... :roflol:

What did you think?

Agreeance, I was in stitches the entire time, especially during the opening scene. The only time I stopped laughing was when that roach crawled out of Kim Jong Il's mouth. Eeeek!

Team America was pretty crap. Too much toilet humour (to put it lightly), stupidity, and right wing stuff. Not worth money to see, they tried to be 'so stupid its funny' but just ended up 'so stupid'.

Sadly I'm in agreeance with Christopher. It didn't really have any humour that was to my liking. The only vaguely amusing thing was the fact that they destroyed a number of landmarks in a single scene. As a statement it was alright but as a movie it wasn't worth it. Glad I didn't pay to see it.

I haven't seen all of it yet, but a friend rented it and I've seen bits and pieces. From what I've seen it's hilarious, but then again, you have to know what passes for humor around here. XD I'll be watching the rest of it soon enough so I actually have a full impression.

I think the funniest thing about this film is that it started out as an actual film script but it was so bad, they decided to make a spoof of action films and use puppets instead. Good grief the first scene was funny. I've never seen anything so amusing as two puppets fighting ninja stylee.

It sends up itself too, and spoofs different genres, hence so much toilet humour/general stupidity.

I haven't seen it, but my very-picky-about-films-and-has-very-good-taste mate Hog liked it, so I'll trust him and see it when I can, lol.

I saw it recently, and it was okay. There are some really funny parts, but mostly it bored me :P I kept checking my watch to see when it would end.

I would advise anyone who hasn't seen it yet to see it, but leave during the barf scene. They've got great jokes before that, and nothing but the sick dregs left afterward. And that obscene-as-possible metaphor used in the bar is used AGAIN.
