The people on last night were terrible, except for those two that the judges picked. That Deliuh guy who came out looking like Gomez adams was so horrible, I had to leave the room. He was kind of funny though, if they ever remake the adams family they could get him. He kind of reminded me of Count Olaf or someone too..

I was just happy that Gene Simmons actually had opinions and advice for the contestants until Mark Mcgrath. At least when he said no he gave a reason as opposed to always just agreeing with randy like Mark was. I mean what's the point of being a guest judge if just sit there and go along with everyone else.

I also agree that Gene Simmons did a good job. He didn't just tell people that they sucked; he explained exactly why they sucked.

The talent pool of Nawwwleans was disappointingly shallow, although there were some interesting characters, notably Crunk Boy (AKA Leroy Wells). I was laughing non-stop the entire audition, at his apparent inability to speak, the fact that he sang "Baby I Got Yo Money," which is a song that has been an inside joke in my family for a few years, and his posse, which consisted of two mute guys, one who sported a towel on his head. It was like a scene from a cartoon, only much funnier.

Anyone know who's guest-judging tonight? LOST is a repeat, so I might watch.

Oh I forgot to add that I wanted the twins to go in. I thought what Simon did was comical but rude. But it looks like Paula yells a lot at Simon next episode. And it's funny how Randy always goes with the larger force. When Simon is in power Randy tags along. Now Paula is and what does he do? Tag along.

God, I hate him.

Forgot to mention that last night, I loved that one guys voice at the beginning. MAN he could really sing.

Well, tonight was a bit better than last night.
That last guy was really good.
Everyone else... meh... forgettable.
And I didn't particularly like that one 16yr old girl who got through to the next round. I didn't like her voice and I just couldn't look at her. It looked like she had too much collagen pumped into her lips.
She just... didn't impress me.
Also wasn't too impressed with that one "Sirens" girl either... or that one asian looking woman OR the bigger girl near the end.
And btw.. that Sirens show is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. :P

I really hope next week we see alot LESS of the idiots who audition just to be on tv... like that dumb cowgirl.

I had a blast watching tonight, especially when this guy got up and was all serious looking and really nerdy and he sang "I'm so excited" but looked like the last thing he could do was be excited. It was hilarious. He reminded me of Ben Stein, I couldn't stop laughing.

There were actually a few people who could sing. And one girl walked out and she was overweight and I thought just from looking at her that she'd sound terrible, and she was very very good! It really suprised me a lot. And all four judges liked her and even Simon, they did say she had an image problem but she had a while to work on the weight. She wasn't really that bad looking otherwise.

This episode made me very angry. They let in a 16 year old girl but the 17 year old boxer girl didn't get in? What frickin' hypocrites.

I personally liked the show girl and the asian mother. They sounded awesome! And the other twin got in! Yes!

Anyone hear our buddy Leroy Wells got in trouble with the law? He ended up watching his AI performance from prison after being arrested for attempted murder. He's been arrested before for disorderly conduct, marijuana possession, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

(MOBILE, Ala.) January 26 -- An American Idol hopeful, gaining notoriety, but not just for his shot at stardom. T-V viewers found Grand Bay's Leroy Wells on national T-V Tuesday night. However, on Wednesday, the would-be “idol” could be found in Mobile Metro Jail.

While millions of American Idol fans kept it locked into Leroy, Leroy was locked up behind bars for failing to appear in court.

The 22-year-old Grand Bay, Alabama native wowed fans with his rendition of "Got Your Money" by O-D-B. Even though he wasn't able to watch his performance from home, sheriff’s deputies tell NBC 15 they did allow Leroy and other inmates to watch American Idol from jail.

Mobile Police spokesman Marcus Young says Leroy Wells was arrested earlier this month for reportedly shooting a hand gun into an occupied vehicle. “Apparently they were arguing over how the cars were in the roadway at which time Mr. Wells allegedly shot the victim in his hip,” Young says.

“Family members say because Leroy is a “pretty boy,” he gets picked on a lot, which explains why he may have been carrying a pistol to protect himself. His brother, Ryan Peyton tells NBC 15 News: “A lot of people picks on him and he's had that problem since he's been a kid. As he got older he just got tired of it and so he took measures into his own hands.”

According to Mobile County Sheriff's department records, Wells has a prior criminal record including seven other arrests. The charges range from disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana, to carrying a pistol without a permit.

His brother says despite those incidents, Leroy is destined for stardom and would not go as far as shooting another human being. “I'm saying he didn't do it. It's all hear-say from what I know.”

Wednesday, Leroy’s family had trouble coming up with bond money, some $11,000, but later were able to come up with the money. Leroy was released from custody early Wednesday evening.

Which would make him quite correct. ;)

Anyway, there was this man on the show who slurred his words so badly nobody could understand him. I think it's the guy that Chrome posted a picture of.

What about that guy who was like "Can U dig IT SImoN?" the whole time?
He was so funny. And what was the name of that guy who had one Audition in Orleans, and another in Vegas? That was funny.

That's not surprising at all I'm afraid to say.
Think it's hilarious that they said that b/c he's a "pretty boy" that's why he needs to carry a gun around with him. Pulease :roflol:

Points to the post above, above, and mostly the three above you for your answer.

Dunno the name of that guy, but virtually, couldn't you try again if he did? Watch out for repitions next season.

It was funny to watch some, but also painful. I really thought that the girl who sang Alicia Keys was extremely good, but she did have some image problems. Although, I liked how they compared her to Ruben, because he infact did win, even with his slight image problems.

I kept laughing over and over on the psychic. XD

FALLING IN LOVE WITH you

The more I watch... the more painful it becomes for me to watch.
Frankly I have a lot of respect for the Judges. It must actually be pretty hard to sit there and take that. Considering I have issues sitting at home and taking it now.
Dunno why. Just do.
It's funny... yes... but not so much as it used to be. It's kinda getting old.
But then again, since I dont' laugh at my TV anyways, I don't really have to worry about not laughing at AI.
