We had an early dismal today so we were watching it during last period and we saw that bird

XD That's great. I agree with whoever said the judges expressions were good too. =P

OH that is soo cool. I wonder if the bird knows what the words it says means. I always read they don't know what they are saying and what it means, but I think they do know.

Hm... I'm going to have to camcord a game my Granny's cockatiel and I always play when I'm over there. "Bop, bop, bop!"
That is one smart bird! I want a bird just like that one. Well... maybe not exactly... but I am definately going to get a parrot or Macaw or other bird that mocks what I say. Or whatever they do.

I agree on that. I think they do know atleast SOME of the things they say. For example, our bird always laughs at the
perfect time.
I have my doubts they know what things like cussing mean though.

I believe it's somewhat scientific that they have no idea what they are truly saying. That's like saying an American second grader imitating someone saying a Russian word knows exactly what that word means without being told. Birds do not speak English; the American child does not speak Russian.

Hehe, I loved the evil bit

I loved the judges expressions and the little cough

Well, watching it again it dawned on me that it's all about trigger words. Like diet triggers oinking, I'm not sure what opera triggered cause I couldn't understand that, and even physical cues, like the yawning (Which was just REALLY REALLY sweet!) and the dancing.
Doesn't make it any less sweet though.

Awww! My mom's boyfriend's parrot is named Einstien too. Except he makes sounds like a telephone rining and says "Shut up Einstien!" Heheh.
That bird was soooo cute. I loved the "fiesta" and "spaceship" sounds.

WOW! That bird is amazing! I loved the fiesta noises!
