Versus- Video Games (Week 2)

The whole "gangster" scene in SA really turned me away from it. Also the horrible "orangeness" that most of the game has just hurt my eyes and gave me a headache, which rarily happens to me because of video games. Don't get me wrong, SA did a ton of things right (heck it did the most things right) and it's the most entertaining, but it wasn't enough to keep me interested. GTA3 on the other hand really wasn't that much different than VC in most respects. VC seems to be GTA3 with different scenery, slightly more attractive graphics, and a variation of weapons (this can be nitpicked to death, but that's how I feel about the two). Anyway...

VC&GTA3>San Andreas>Dissentary>Death>All other horrible diseases and plagues>Halo

BTW, what do you mean by irritating? Do you mean graphics, missions, controls, etc?

Well, I would say Halo 2, but that's only because I don't like GTA.

And for games that should be added to the possible competators bit, I think Tales Of Symphonia should be added as it is a great example of an RPG. And speaking of RPG's, FFX-2 should be added too. And I'm sure a lot of people here will aggree.

I only put games aganist games they stand a chance against, like GTA vs. Halo 2, but apparantly, there are more GTA fans then Halo fans here.

Edit: I would never put GTA against, Tales of Symphonia, but I might just put it against Kingdom Hearts, there seems to be a large group of Kingdom Hearts fans on the fourm, so just maybe next week...

Well, I think you should make it random. That way it's better as their are games of different enjoyment levels up against each other. I mean, think about it this way. If GTA went up against Golden Sun, Golden Sun may very well win as there are lots of Golden Sun fans on the forums.

Really? Maybe, but I like to at least make the polls fair. So all of the games have a chance.

I vote Halo! I am a Gamer Girl and Halo 2 has become my recent acquired addiction thanks to my boyfriend LOL Not to mention I love playing XBox live and talking to guys. They flip when a girl is playing.

Not really. Unless, like me, you find it amusing to shoot your own team. The principle in GTA is to kill people, in Halo, it's to kill random aliens.
