Very true, but not where voting for morons is concerned.

I think the capitalisation of the "US" was for America, and us. :P

Have you listened to the album at all?! The whole things politically orientated and anti-Bush save a couple.

It probably didn't trigger any controversey because I doubt George Busg would be bothered about bands forming albums or stuff about him. I haven't heard anything about "Rock Against Bush Vol 1 & 2" triggering any controversy either. o_O

..Can you *imagine* George Bush with black eyeliner, moshing away in HMV to American Idiot? ;)

Don't like Greenday. Never have, probably never will *sniff*

That would be so funny to watch. He'd probably screw it up and start choking. :P

Meh, moshing doesn't look so good with short hair.

But thankyou Twinkle, I'll try to make time to listen more carefully. :)

I thought you said you went to school. o_O Sorry if I offended you anyway, it wasn't intentional.

I do attend school, but almost everyday of the week after school I have after school activites that I'm involved in. Including Newspaper, Choir, Art Club, and Drama Club. After those clubs are over, Mom picks me up after school and she has to take me STRAIGHT to dance after that. Which means, my dance clothes are in my bag in the car and I have to get changed into dance clothes in the car! I'm used to it, but sometimes it gets annoying.

Heh same here. Wednesdays are the worst. I stay behind school til 4.30 to help out at lower school drama, from there straight to dance for an hours private lesson and then straight to work until 10.30. It's so tiring. :P

Still have to find time for myself though, Green Day have managed to perk me up when I'm about to drop many a time. *dances around to Basket Case*

I spent 2 hours standing in line to get tickets. This had better be worth it.

Mon Feb 21, 2005 8:47 pm

At least you got tickets! My friend and I stood in line from 6 to 9! We didn't even get tickets! And, I asked Michelle if she wanted to camp out and wait until morning, but she was like "No! I'm not getting raped by some lunatic tonight just because you wanna see Green Day!" Hehe, sorry if that was breaking the rules of anything, I was just repeating what she said.

Nessa wrote:I like Greenday, but just like every other band in the world, they get old sometimes. But they're one of those bands that if you stick the CD in, you can listen to it for days at a time, take it out for a week and put it back in and its as if you never got tired of it in the first place. (to me of course, not necessarily saying they're like that for everyone. :P)

I avoid calling bands "punk" or "pop-punk" because everyone has different definations of "punk" and "pop-punk" and for the sake of Igg's pink hippos, its really not worth arguing about. Ditto with the 'sell-out' issue, honestly, who cares? If you like them, listen to them, if not, thats fine. No-ones putting a gun to your head about it.

How does one define sell-out anyway? o_O

Well said Nessa! I agree. The whole sell-out issue is silly and should be umm..put to rest. *nods*

You're just saying that because they're sell-outs.

Yes, American idiot is politically orientated, but it didn't have what I assume was the desired impact.

*screams* I hate the term 'sell-out'.

I don't think it made much of a difference, nope. Did it make any difference? Nope.

Sell-outs!!!! ;) :P Aw Amy dear, I am just winding you up

Yes Andrew, I do quite admire that. BRainwash people into thinking that they have their own minds...because you tell them so. Fabulous. I love US teenagers.

And that sad bit is that you're entirely correct. :|
