Whooo! Good episode!
So now, some comments on the teams:
Rob and Amber: I think it's a bit selfish that they are like "yeah if we don't win at least we already have a million"
The African-American couple: I want them to win! It's so sad that they are poor because of the fact that they are trying to have a baby.
The old couple: Aaw the woman is soo cute with her little swear-substitutes. "Dog Gonnit!" It was so sad when the shuttle wasn't going to stop for them at first...
The gay couple: They are quite stereotypical. I bet they will be the source of much humour.
The blonde "Barbie" sisters: I was JUST thinking "Imagine someone got into an accident?" when they almost crashed. Yeah... I'm creepy like that.
The "surfer" brothers: They'll also be funny I bet. 15 mins into the show and they were already hitting on the blonde girls.
The "All American" couple: I can see her getting really annoying really fast.
The girl room-mates/life long friends: I love them! They remind me so much of the sisters last season. My favourite team by far, so they won't win for sure...
The Mother/Son couple: Wow... I have to say I'd never go onto a reality show with my mama...
EDIT: "Dog Gonnit!" I ended up hitting "Sumbit" before the show was even over... Ah well..
EDIT 2: I was SO happy that Debbie and Bianca came in first! I would have been so disappointed if Rob and Amber came in first! And luckily they came in 3rd! Whoo!

That was a blast. There's some really funny teams this time around...too bad we lost one of them already! Glad to see Rob is his same old conniving self.
$10,000 for both first-placers! Dayum! I don't blame Evil Mom for being so wrecked they didn't get first. Someone on another forum commented that this might soon become a season of all villains. I know that might bother some people, but...how fun would that be??

Excuse you... I'm from SC and I HAVE THAT ACCENT. Not as thick as they did but I still have it.
And don't call people hillbillies just b/c they're southerners.

I'm sad to see the SC boys go.. but I'm cheering for the "surfer" brothers. They seem cool and funny.
And I so do not want Rob and Amber to win.. or that other couple with that guy with the blue bandana.. the ones that missed that one truck by seconds and then he was getting mad at his gf or wife or whatever she was.
I thought it was hilarious and interesting to hear that the mother and son team have some sorta plan to get Rob and Amber off.. lol.. hope it works

In any case. I'm all for the Rob & Amber team
And you know that any plans to try and knock R&A off aren't gonna work. They've already beat out 16 others... I'm sure they can beat 10 other pairs. And like they said on their interview videos...

I'm upset the SC guys lost. I'd rather it had been Miss "All American couple". Her boyfriend, the ex-POW, seems fine and I like that he isn't telling everyone in site that he's a POW but she's annoying. Rob and Amber weren't as bad as I feared they would be. It will be interesting to see how they do without the help of a Survivor fan like they had this round. I felt bad for the son and mom as they were getting covered in llama spit.

llama/camel spit is excessivly nasty. It's basically stomach contents, smells like bile, and the smell sticks with you for days after you're hit by it.

I'm rather happy that Patrick and his mom got smacked around with it. (Tee hee). Guess no one knows how to make a quick halter. Idiots.
Anyways. I'm happy to see Rob and Amber, they're the only reason i'm watching this season, and most likely once they're gone, I won't be watching anymore.

I know. I was very proud of Romber (Stole your name) when they reached first place. They truly deserve to be in this competition.
I actually didn't hate anyone. The US troop guy got on my nerves as well as the brothers did. Oh well, good first episode!

Yeah, then I guess 3/4ths of the world are idiots because they didn't take lessons or research how to make one. Making one is hard.
Was I the only one who thought the episode was rather slow? It was good, but.. I kept looking at the clock. Oh my gosh theres still 45 mins left!
