Invisible. I don't listen to much music, and even if I did, I wouldn't pay (or ask someone in my family to pay) that much money for something.

Ive got a white and silver 4th generation 20GB ipod, that i spent my birthday money, half of my bank account (which had very little in it to begin with) and about 4 months of pocket money (there are loads of birthdays between when i started saving up and christmas), and i finally got it at christmas

Chibi is a white 20 GB. I wanted a photo one, but my mom wasn't willing to spend that much...

Most of these Ipods have more memory than my computer.
I have two CD's I listen to, 23 songs each. I don't need one, so I don't have one.

Frankly, I don't need an ipod. Any song I want to carry with me, I download online and burn onto a CD.

To me, that is unaffordable. I'd have to really want an ipod to blow a entire paycheck on it. (The only Ipods they have in store here are $300 or $400 [I'm not entirely sure,] so technically, I'd have to wait for two paychecks in order to get one)
I have my minidisc player, my mom paid $150 for it two years ago. It still works fine and I can put as many songs on as many minidiscs as I want. I can fit about 5 albums (depending on length of course) on one minidisc. The discs are small and compact, easy to carry around.
Chances are I'll never actually use all 20GBs that a ipod offers. Right now on my computer I have 1.38GBs of music. I've been collecting music on my computer for about a year and a half. So spending $300 to $400 for something I'll never use to its full capacity is stupid for me.
