Hmm... right. Second screen as a menu. I just assume that if you aren't going to do something useful with both screens, it's better off as a Game Boy Advance game.

One thing that kind of bothers me... games focusing entirely on using the bottom screen as an input device, while ignoring the fact that it has X and Y buttons. Seems kind of pointless when you have those two extra buttons and don't actually use them.
I hope some games will find a nice use for those buttons.

Navigating menus and thing can be very useful in RPGs. There are often a lot of things to choose from so instead of scrolling all the way down you just touch it. And I kind of like the touch screen being used as just an input device. Look at Metroid.

Yes, the Metroid demo is great... although I didn't figure out how to turn into a ball until awhile..

I think DS is a cool idea, I think PSP is a cool idea but people are making over them like they're these little electronic gods or something, mainly PSP just because Sony is an evil comglomerate, not as evil as Microsoft, but just a lesser of the two evils...uh, yeah....
DS isn't about better graphics.
Yeah, it's about another screen.

Another screen that touch sensitivity. It was smart for Nintendo to make a second screen because if the the DS has only one screen, and that screen was a touch screen, your hand would get in the way of your view. Honestly, that if the only current argument I can use to justify the second screen. Well, maybe that's not entirely true. On some games, a map REALLY helps. And it helps remove clutter from the top screen.
