AIM or MSN?

AIM, mainly because most of the people I talk to online use it. (None of my friends IRL use MSN at all.)

That, and I've been using it for years, and MSN liked to randomly not let me online when I tried to get on it... so yeah, AIM.

AIM is ugly. I'm sorry. It just is.

MSN. Everyone I know uses it, it does the job and if I remember correctly it came with my computer. The only thing that irks me is that you can't go onto "Offline" and still talk to some people like I know you could do previously on ICQ.

Ever since my hard drive crashed about a year ago I had to reinstall everything, only I couldn't remember my pass for AIM... But it was for my american friends only.

I use MSN and prefer it too.

MSN definitely, I'm not American so no one here uses AIM, and MSN has better features.

Both have their merits.

For group discussion/chats, AIM. For IMs to Manda and Jet, AIM.

For IMs most of the time, MSN.

MSN, I don't know anyone (except online) who speaks on AIM so I don't bother it.
