Oh jeez louiz! Kids today should be so lucky as to EVER experience anything of the quality and originality that I did. I swear, if I ever have kids they are not watching for what is going to pass as cartoons by that point. :cry:

I like the OLD Bugs Bunny. This is scary, kay? I hate this! I loved the old characters..................... These guys look like they are completely insane and are on medication which makes their skin look pitch black.

Maybe I'm insane. This has got to be a joke.

No. They look plain EVIL.... OMG.... what is the world coming too....

Watch as WB tries out the inevitable rise of Flash Animation. Because this is all it is - hyped up on a "thriving industry" that, when left in the wrong hands, can make you utterly despise the medium used.

I've been a flash animator for just shy of a year. I've already felt the need to compile a short animation of Bugs kicking Buzz (yep, you heard right) out of 45 storey building with no parachute whatsoever just to prove superpowers are nothing in comparison to good ol' slapstick comedy.

Now if only Flash could quit crashing on me >>;

This worked for Teen Titans, however if WB is seriously considering a "sequel" to the Looney Tunes, bring back the Tiny Toons. That was classic stuff along with the aged (but looking no less than in their 20's) Looney Tunes.

What I fear is the backlash. With Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite (unconfirmed at this point, but hints have been made) to see redesigns for the coming years as well as some of the oldskoolers like Yogi Bear (a live action is being hinted at), Huckleberry Hound, Lucky Luke and other fantastic cartoons, WB may very well be announcing the prelude of oldskool classics destruction.

This is only the first of many to come. Sadly, unless a group of us have the means to start up an animation company (and not give in to bigwig company pressures, such as buyouts), I'm afraid we must sit back and watch as it spreads.

I just feel helpless when it comes to matters of my childhood.

Ack, ugh... my brain... my eyes... my childhood... my faith in the human race... (which is admittedly already pretty small). This is giving me actual physical pain. Bleh.
