Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I actually do believe in ghosts, I just don't have the same view of them as most others. As for a quick explanation: According to me the ghosts aren't the spirits of people who have passed away, they are demons who have one purpose among the poeple, to scare them and bring them over to their side. This meaning turning away from whatever you consider as good, and for me that is God. Not going to make this into a religious discussion though, I have enough sense to respect individual point of views, and who knows, I might be wrong myself.
Anyway, sure, things just happen sometimes and our imagination makes us go nuts about it, that's just human nature.
I think in your place though you should just relax, ghost/demon/spirit/shadowpersonthingy/nothing at all, doesn't matter, it cannot hurt you, only play with you imagination.

Sounds like a wraith to me.

wraiths are the heralds of two things.
places where great suffering has occured. or will occure

Silja's right. If it had wanted to hurt you, it would have done so already. And, I am not saying that mockingly. We really don't know if they exist or not.

Nope
Couldn't actually see anything, just a very quick flicker of a shadow the size of a human. Thing is, whenever I'm at the computer I always have the feeling that I'm being watched from behind. Sometimes, I'll whizz around because it feels like my brother is standing behind me, but he's not.

i get that too.
but then i know this house is haunted so im okay.
(oh... my dog, two other random ghosts (apparently my aunt and grandfather, but they both died before i was born, and i cant say ive seen a picture so i wouldnt know) a wraith and somthing that just scares the fragglerocks out of me when i see it.
a profound sence of wrongness with that one.
(and no i will not change the spelling of sence, i'll spell it how and when i wish)

well, I'm not into spiritual things and all, so I'll give you my "scientific" opinion.
I guess It could be a "floater" as discribed earlier. I don't know if it's the same thing as I have... I have little "veins" that sort of float in my eyes (eww) and I was worried about what I saw sometimes too. I went to the docors and he told me it was nothing to worry about. My eyes are just very sensitive and pick up the shadows of those little veins, so you see little transparant grey lines and blobs. I can even see blood running through them when it is a very bright day

Anyway, it's nothing to be worried about.
Another thing could be that it's your brain fooling you. When you are very tired, relaxed or concentrated, your brain begins to wander, causing you to see things. Sometimes you think that something moves (most of the times out of the corner of your eyes) Sometimes you see that a door is slightly open, and when you look again it's still closed, that sort of thing.
I think that might be the case, since it happens when you are at the computer with your headphones on. You are very concentrated or relaxed by the music which causes your brain to wander off

One time I had a very small moth or gnat flying around my light and casting shadows on the wall. It was hard to see it but when I looked at the light I could see a bug flying around.
