I get to see it at the end of October for the first time! It's coming to Dallas! Yea! (I can't talk my parents into taking me to New York just for Broadway... -_-) I keep hearing y'all talk about it, and I've only seen the bit from the Macy's Parade a few years ago.

I'm around halfway through the book, and I desperately want to see the play. Incidentally, I'm listening to Popular now. Sorry for bumping it up after it's been dead for a while, but I didn't want to make a new topic.

I think the musical is here now / coming soon, so I'll have to save for tickets.

Let's see, I cry from the part where Galinda sings the reprise of "I'm not that girl" to about the end of the play.

Brilliant. Can't wait until they make a movie!

Really?? Can't you? I'm going to place myself firmly on the fence until I see whether or not I love RENT or just mildly adore it to make my final judgement call on whether or not they want to take the plunge on it.
