That's really cool. Any idea when it was discovered? Ah, it wasn't that long ago. I was going to say, if the images had been around for awhile the makers of LotR might have designed Sauron's eye around that or something. That's very highly unlikely though

150-odd near earth planets have been discovered.
pretty bad seeing as we know of about half as many Galaxies.

(by near-earth i mean close by)
