Probably around the same.

And if you love Ben Moody, go dig up the song "You" by Evanescence somewhere. It's about him.

Well. It was about him before he left her.

It's not only about Ben Moody. It's about her family and friends.

And as Tyrannitar says, I would advise you not to listen to it, but it is your choice.

And the song isn't by Evanescence, it's by Amy Lee.

<hr>

According to Amy Lee herself, she says the new material for the album is the best work she's ever done.

How's that for reassurance?

Ben Moody has been featured on the Fantasic Four Soundtrack!

And unlike the Punisher Soundtrack, this time he's singing, and with Anastacia! They put their heads together and created 'Everything Burns', along with a snazzy video for it.

You can go here to view it:
http://fantasticfoursoundtrack.com/video.html

The following songs are also included:
1. Come On Come In - Velvet Revolver
2. Error Operator - Taking Back Sunday
3. Relax - Chingy
4. Whatever Happened to the Heroes - Joss Stone
5. Waiting (Saving Your Life) - Omnisoul
6. Always Come Back To Me - Ryan Cabrera
7. Everything Burns - Ben Moody feat. Anastacia
8. New World Symphony - Miri Ben-Ari
9. Die for You - Megan McCauley
10. Noots - Sum 41
11. Surrender - Simple Plan
12. I'll Take You Down - T.F.F.
12. On Fire - Lloyd Banks
13. Reverie - Megan McCauley
14. Goodbye To You - Breaking Point
15. Shed My Skin - Alter Bridge
16. In Due Time - Submersed
17. Disposable Sunshine - Loser
18. Now You Know - Miss Eighty 6 featuring Classic
19. Kirikirimai (Fantastic Four Remix) - Orange Range

The album hits stores July 5th, 2005. Ben Moody's solo album is going to be released later this year.

In my humble opinion, the only thing that's good is Ben Moody's voice and his eyeliner. :P Everything else is not what I expected, but ah well.

That's cool. I'm not a big fan of Ben Moody solo work but I do love his writing. This song itself is pretty nice, I do like it.

Although, Amy Lee did write this song and Ben kept it and re-did it with Anastacia.

I remembered I heard a rumour about a song called 'Alone' that would be on the new album. I heard talk on the other Evanescence board that it was going to be on a soundtrack for a video game, but it wasn't. So, the songs so far are Prisoner of a Long Day, The Last Song I'm Wasting on You, Breathe No More, and Alone. :)

*listens closer* It'd be awesome if Evanescence got permission to release it on the album. Well, Amy did write it... I wonder if she gave Ben permission to use it, or he just used it himself?

"Alone" was for the Resident Evil 2 soundtrack if I'm not mistaken. It was a rumor, I think so at least, I was a little angry when I found out it wasn't on there.

They probably talked about it. I don't think Ben is the kind of person to take a song without asking Amy. Just because they aren't in the same band anymore, doesn't mean he'll steal from her. I'm sure he asked her.

If you care, here's where the current band members stand band-wise:
Amy Lee: Evanescence, writing and recording
Terry Balsamo: Evanescence, writing and recording
William Boyd: Evanescence, current events about him are unknown
John LeCompt: Evanescence, doing a side-project with Rocky Gray in a band called 'Mourningside', who recently did their first show
Rocky Gray: Evanescence, doing a side project with John Lecompt in a band called 'Mourningside', who recently did their first show, in another side project called 'The Burning', started clothing line

Line thing... I should really learn how to make one...

This is so cool. If Ben Moody stayed with the band, it'd be uber-cool if he did some kind of duet song with Amy. Actually, he sings in Even in Death, in the background, on the recording, during the chorus. You can barely hear it though.

This is a small update, but Ben Moody will be appearing on MuchMusic at 5 PM on July 4th on their show MuchonDemand. If you like Ben Moody, then you should go check it out. :)

I saw it. Apparently he wrote "Everything Burns".

Ben Moody is releasing his album in fall of this year. It will be dark and gothic-ish, and one song, '10/22', is actually about him leaving Evanescence.

I actually may buy it, I love his song "Everything Burns".

Also, a little nice blurb on Amy:

From the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette today:

REBEL WITH A CAUSE:
Evanescence lead singer Amy Lee, formerly of Little Rock, soon speaks out on a subject close to her heart — epilepsy. Her younger brother has the disease.
Lee is the new national spokesman for the National Epilepsy Foundation. She’ll appear in a series of TV ads to shed light on epilepsy and contribute time and money to create educational materials to be distributed in schools.

And another blurb that appeared beneath it:

BEHIND THE MUSIC:
Speaking of Amy, she was in Little Rock on Monday before last for R&R with 12 roadweary members and crew of Seether (fronted by boyfriend Shaun Morgan).
She called parents Sara and John a day earlier to ask if they’d make their Mexican feast famous among family and friends.
In return, John had a captive audience as he played guitar, harmonica and banjo.
"Hey, if I’m going to cook all day for you, you’re going to be forced to hear me play!" he joked.
While here, Amy and the guys watched movies, threw horseshoes, and played airhockey and foosball.
"They may look like heavily tattooed and pierced angry young rockers, but they are really just 24-year-old kids," says John.

Hooray Amy!
