Practically the same thing as Morningstar (except that the lake doesn't affect me as much). It's been horribly dry around here in the last couple of weeks and it's supposed to hit 100 in the next couple of days. I'll probably get stuck working in this heat as well. >_>

Hehe We have a hurricane coming through, anyone want some rain? But yea, its always humid in Houston, always. But when it gets to 100 in Colorado....thats shocking.

We actually had rain just now. Came with two other prizes: lightning and thunder. Nonetheless, it's still hot.

My a/c is only on at night, when we sleep as it's a waste of electricity and money. :P

We haven't any air conditioning inside either. *goes to live with Morningstar*

What part of NorCal are you? In the valley at least it was pretty bad last week with 100s and high dew point ... ugh. Thank goodness the Delta breezes kicked in.

It's pretty bad here in NJ, though it never reaches above 110 degrees. Yesterday it was 103 and we were all dying. I have AC in my apartment, but at night my mom turns off the one in the living room that supplies a nice breeze in my room and turns on the one in her room. So at nights I just have my little twenty year old fan that squeaks. Yeah! :P

I hate the heat though. Ugh.

The temperature around here is in the 90's. I usually like summery warm weather. I just like it with some breeze.

This summer I've been going out more: getting a tan :P , being physically active a bit, and hanging with friends more <3 .

So I like to play baseball down at the school field and go swimming at a friend's house.

Swimming's the best during the summer. <3 I wish I had my own backyard pool.

I have air conditioning. It feels so good to get back in my cooled house after hanging outside.

One time, I felt sick during baseball with my sister and my friends. We were all like sick from too much sun or something. D:

Oh, and popsicles is another great thing during the summer. <3

Ugh. It's not so much the heat as the humidity. My house doesn't have AC, and my windows don't have screens so I can't open them -_- It seems to storm around mid-afternoon every day, and then it gets even MORE humid.

...Although the steam rising off the street is pretty cool....

It's been a fairly nice year here in Dallas... It hasn't gotten too hot yet...

It rained in Chicago when I was there, albeit it was a month and a half ago... We had been on Navy Pier, on the day we arrived in Chicago, and a huge thunderstorm hit as we were trying to leave. We didn't want to get wet, so we went to see Romeo and Juliet!

It's been quite hot and humid here. I actually like it though. :P It rains at night and we've been getting horrible thunder and lightning storms at night, but during the day it's hot and sunny. :) I just wish it wasn't quite so humid!

Ohhh gawwwwd, stop rubbing the fact that you have AC in my face!
*Head desk* Ughhhhh....

I just read on Fox news that in Phoenix Arizona there is a heat wave that has killed 12 people already. It is SO hot and it is hotter than it usually is, even for the desert. The shelters can't hold all the people that need to use them to get out of the heat. That is sad. They said that a lot of older people, and those who are very poor and only have little fans, are really suffering. I know people can usually get help and get a fan or something for free. But in the desert that is just a joke, it is just going to blow hot air around.

I hate weather in the valley. :| It's been evil. I'm just staying inside mostly...

105 degrees here, and I'M IN PENNSYLVANIA. It's crazy.

Wed Jul 20, 2005 11:12 pm

It's been between 90 and 100 degrees for the past several days here with high humidity, as is typical for my area. Stepping outside is rather like stepping into a sauna. That's what you get when you live in the southeastern US.

not too hot, but being that i live in a mountain range im not overly suprised.

the lack of sleep, is however begining to get to me, becming rather ratty.
