Wow, I don't know just about all of these. I like Queeny, Blackjack, Take Two, Chase the Ace. That's all I can think of.

Queen of Spades is my absolute favourite. My grandmother taught me how to play I think, and it's kind of a family tradition whenever I go out west to visit them. Well it's actualy called La Dame de Peck(or something like that in french since it originated in Quebec I believe, not sure though.)

I used to play Spades a lot. I'm also becoming quite a Solitaire addict lately.

As for card games on alternate decks, Skip-Bo and Uno are my favourites.

Lol, a bit random, but somehow in the last month or so, I injured my left hand. It only hurts when I shuffle cards. I was attempting the other night to painfully shuffle a deck, and at the same time, complaining about my hand. Suddenly I looked up at my mother and said "My dream of being a blackjack dealer is ruined!"

Argh. I hate that game, it's so boring -.-". Poker is alright, but I'm so bad at it.

Hearts is fun too =). As for one-player games, I sometimes play Clock Solitaire, but only when I'm really bored. You can hardly ever win, anyways, but at least it is based on continuous motion. XD

LOL. I actually like shuffling and dealing, but all my friends say I deal in a weird way, and they don't let me deal =/.

That drinking game...

Say there are six people playing, you get 6 sets of 4 cards (4 aces, 4 jacks...etc.).
Shuffle.

Everyone gets 4 cards.

You then keep passing one card to your right...as soon as someone gets a set of 4, they put their hand on their nose but DON'T SAY ANYTHING. If you see someone put their hand on their nose you put your hand on your nose. The last person to do so has to take a shot.

Egyptian Ratscrew goes like this:

You divide the deck of cards in half, (half the deck for each player) and you see who has the highest card on the bottom. The player with the highest number goes first. That person lays down the first card, then the next player lays one down on top of that one.

!. If the first card laid down is not a face card, (e.g. not a jack, queen and king or ace,) then the other person just lays down the next card in their deck on top of it. Say the first card, (not a face card) was an 8. Then, if the next card laid down by the other player was an 8, both players try to slap the pile. Who ever hits it first gets to take all the cards in the pile. The person who took the cards then lays down another.

2. If the card they laid down was a:
Jack- they other person only has one chance to lay down another face card. (they cannot look through their deck, just take the one off the top.)
Queen- two chances to lay down a face.
King- three chances
Ace- the player gets to lay down up to four cards to get a face.
If you don't lay down a face card within the number of tries, then the person who laid down that face gets the pile of cards.

EDIT: 3. Oops, I forgot one more thing! Say someone lays down a 2, then the next person a 4, then the other person another 2, both players should try to slap the deck. Whoever slaps it first gets the pile.

4. The object is to get as many cards as you can- if you run out of cards you lose.

:D tee hee i felt like explaining that!
oh, and this is OPTIONAL: if you accidentally slap the pile of cards, but there was nothing to slap about, the other person gets the pile of cards

Is it like, every other card counts too? o_O

And what if they're laying face cards, let's say, a King, and two of the cards the other player lays down are the same (in a row)? Do they slap it then?
