I hope that they won't be living in the actual ruins. That would not be cool.

I do believe that is actually what is happening.

yup, i think so to.... i just watched the old preview about a week ago, and it let us to believe they would be hanging out IN these old temple-y things.

That's a wonderful way to judge a show, Ammer.

ah, but its so true!
In alphebetical order... we have:
a housemom... shell be gone fast.
A guy who wants to be cute, but doesnt know what to do with his hair.
a hillbilly.
how brian got on a show... i dont even know. he'll probably go down in history as the biggest dork to play survivor.

okay... you know what? wait a second here.... they always stick in the cute girls that make people want to watch *and the survivors always somehow save 2 of them 2/3rd of the way through the show, because they are hot usually *or because they are easy to persuade* and then dumb them.

This years cute girls are particulary cute.

Im voting for Brianna, Brooke, and Morgan the whole way :) even though they dont stand a chance.

But literally, i vote for the slightly younger, somewhat nerdy cool person who really isnt appriciated.... this time, itll probably be this Raffe guy for me....

And my family and I have decided that i am DEFINETELY auditioning for the next survivor.... as soon as they tell us to start sending in the tapes.... im going for it. ill be out of school and have a nice job that will let me off for it.. so... im going for it.
:D

An older cast this time around. It could prove interesting. And its been a while since they wern't on the ocean, so food and what not will be a bigger factor this season.

My early bet: Same as WW sorry, but I'm with Rafe.

Good news everyone, Stephanie and Bobby John from Survivor: Palau are joining this season's cast! That's awesome!

So far that's just a rumor. If it's proven true, all I can say is what the hell for? To compete? They had a chance and they blew it. Mooooving on...

Although I liked Steph.... there's no point in bringing them back. It's just going to put another HUGE target right on their backs.
You know the new people are going to resent the fact that those 2 had their chance to win and they blew it.
Guess we'll see though.

Well... its true. Just saw a commercial for Guatemala, and they said 2 old castaways would be returning.

Dunno in what sense... but thar it is...

I'll be trying to catch this season. Unfortunately, Thursday evenings aren't the best for TV watching at the moment.

Mayan ruins, woohoo!

edit: This season's local contestant is *drumroll* Margaret Bobonich!
That's who I'm rooting for. I hear she plays a super big role the first episode, I hope it doesn't hurt her.

Wow, I never heard that. Even though I loved Stephanie, I hope she deosn't come back to compete, because that isn't fair to the others. Although I can see it as a possiblity because there are only 16 new castaways, and lately they have been doing 18. We'll see.

Anyway, 3 Hours, 46 Minutes :D

Woooow.... that was pretty intense when Bobby Jon got really bad.
Can't believe how hard those guys went down though and the women were all winded but otherwise fine.

Hope that other guy is ok too.. the one that got stabbed by the thorns on the treelimb.
Looks like he's gonna get worse next episode though :o

Cool. Now there will be two people I know!.........

but Stephanie and Bobby Jon are players................

Fri Sep 16, 2005 3:57 am

YEEE

STEPH! YES! *dance*
She's my favorite player ever. I want Nukum or however their tribe is spelt to go down and just fail! Though the Nurse lady and Cindy are cool.
I'm so happy Stephs tribe won! It makes me squiggle!

But don't you feel a bit like this survivor thus far is all about Bobby Jon and Steph?

Fri Sep 16, 2005 4:11 am

I'm thrilled. I really liked Stephanie, and I was so happy for her when she finally won an immunity challenge, and tears were welling up in her eyes. I actually don't know if she'll be a bigger target than normal for someone of her personality, however. She seemed to fit in pretty well with her tribe.

I thought it was awful how almost all of the men got really sick. The eye rolling thing Bobby John did was probably the worst thing I've ever seen on Survivor. (And I've watched them all.) My personal opinion is that the producers are just trying too hard to make each Survivor more extreme than the last one, and it finally took its toll. After all, the human body can only stand so much. There's a reason why so few people become top atheletes, especially in things that are long distance.

I felt bad for the first guy who went home, but I do think it was the right decision. An injury like that can be dangerous, especially if it's aggravated.
