Overwhelmingly well worth the wait - I guess I'm one of the minority, yet again, I thought the story was wonderful and not rushed at all. Maybe a bit at the end, but too much more elaboration after that beautiful scene would've just spoiled it. I actually cried a bit, all the way from when Emily first stopped Victor from drinking the wine (all the while I was thinking "Nooo Victoria, you idiot! Go away!") to when the butterflies flew off into the night. I was just about to strangle the idiots in the back row who were giggling all the way through.

I was rooting for Emily/Victor all the way - the piano duet was beautiful, it really seemed to me that Emily had more in common with Victor then Victoria did, and Victor seemed to be falling more for her then he did Victoria. I was expecting something miraculous to happen so that they could be together - especially after "Tears to Shed", I thought Victor's love might be bringing her back to life.

Not that I disliked Victoria or anything, don't get me wrong, she was very nice but, as someone from the Tim Burton Collective said: I just wanted everyone to drop dead and Victoria get together with Bonejangles or something.

The ending was rather confusing, though, considering how fantastic the Land of the Dead was - why would you want to go anywhere else? Heaven doesn't have scatting skeletons! Of course, having a head free of maggots would have been nice, but...

As for funny bits, most, as I predicted, were supplied by Victor -

Victor: With this candle! I shall...I shall...set your mother on fire...-sigh-

Victor(with Napoleon-on-a-Stick): I have...I have a dwarf! And I'm not afraid to use him, I want questions!
Napoleon: I think you mean answers.
Victor: Yes, thank you - I want answers!

Emily(holding her head to shut up Maggot): Shut up! Shut up!
Victor: o-o;

Anyways, I'll talk more once the shock of the ending wears off a bit. Gah, first Finding Neverland, now this...I've got to stop being so bloody empathetic...

Wow. Wow. This was just such a sweet, lovely, amazingly done, Tim Burton-tacular movie^^ It was short, but I don't think it needed to be any longer, really....Then it would have dragged. But they did a good job of keeping the plot moving, the characters interesting, etc.

I just saw it and I loved it. But I didn't like the ending as much as if something else would have happened, because we all wanted it to happen, I think really.

I loved it! The music was beautiful. The piano duet was definetly my favorite part.

I just saw it too... omg... the ending was so beautiful. Although I do agree that Emily and Victor would look so good together. Victoria is so annoying -_-.

It felt so short, but at the same time the length was just right. A bittersweet movie <3

I can't wait to see it! Considering Tim Burton is my favourite director, & I adore TNBC, I think it'll be fab. It comes out here in New Zealand in a few weeks, I think.

I tried to skip past the spoilers, cos I want it to be a surprise :)

I think it would have been nice if Victor had drunk the potion and then Emily would have been all, "Oops, silly me, I forgot to tell you I changed my mind about you and Victoria."
