I've never found Kirby much of a problem. A few well placed upward smask attacks (with most characters) can take him out. His Down+B can easily be dodged and most of his copied moves aren't that great of a help (though Samus' blaster works nicely for him).
I agree with you on Kirby. Down+B is worse than it was in the original one, and it's so easily blocked/dodged. If it misses, he can easily be thrown too, unless you break the rock thing before you hit the ground, but they can still aereal move you. Besides, he isn't the quickest or heaviest character either. I find his Side+B sort of lacking too.
That said, I used to use Kirby a lot. I guess he's good for beginners =P.
Sheik doesn't have too good special moves though. Side+B isn't really useful in a lot of situations. (but Zelda is always nice in some cases) I guess... Fox is just too fast for me XD. I usually use Sheik and Peach as secondary. (yes... Peach... XD)

Haha, I like using Peach. I'm not all that great with her, but people do find her very annoying (when I'm not trying to win, I just stand in a corner and use my taunt over and over again [though I do it with Kirby the most. xD]).

Or you could always just fly around everyone and throw those cute Vegetables at people while you're at it =P. And poking them in the butt with the Parasol [never] hurts either...

What's the name of the other Princess? Daisy? Somethin like that...yeah. Matt kicked butt with her, too. Don't know what it is about him and princesses. xD

haha. What I like to do is do that with luigi's taunt. I'll go over by an edge and just do that, and if someone has the unfortunate chance of being there at the moment I taunt, they get kicked down to their deaths

Daisy is actually just one of Peach's colour schemes. You may be thinking of Zelda though.

Ah, my friend has this game. Every time I go round there we play it, and for years now, I've always been Sheik. Why? I have no idea. So therefore, I choose Shiek.

I voted for Link, because I normally use him, but Jigglypuff has a OHKO attack (or close to it) that helped me beat event match 51 (the one with Giga Bowser, Mewtwo, and Ganondorf). Just something to keep in mind.
