Finally, after unsuccessfully trying to go SIXE (count 'em, six..) times, I've seen it.
Best experience of my life...
I was tearing up 30 seconds in.
During the reprise of "I'll Cover You", my friend, her brother, and me were pretty much crying all over each other. -sniff-
Brilliant.
Only problem I had in the entire thing was Mimi's "death" scene. It's just like...

-sits up, perfectly well-
A bit abrupt, is all. But, yeah. Excellent movie.
Truth be told, the ending, in some respects is better than the stage play.
HUGE SPOILER TIME
I've always been of the mind that Mimi should die. Call me a horrible person, I just think that's the way it should go. I know Larson was going for ending it with an uplifting message of hope and love, but, come on. "I jumped over the moon. A leap of-MOOOOO" If I ever have to play a near death scene with a line like that, I will bust a cap. Letting her die would have stuck to the original La Boheme story too. But anyways, there was still a little cheese left in the movie (as to be expected with Columbus) what with the whole "I saw a bright white light" scenario, but overall it could have ended much worse.
And so the moral of the story is: no matter how long you're in the washroom, you should always wash your hands.
Thank you.
