You guys and girls are the best!!!

The pen is an awesome idea, she always needs a pen!
I'll get chocolates as well.

Keep anymore ideas coming if you want, I'm leaving in a few hours to buy the gifts.

Buy her a new coffee/tea/hot-drinks mug. But not a crappy stereotypical one like "Best Teacher" etc. Those suck. A real fancy one. But practical.. Practical.

Teachers are very hard to buy for.... but what i would do, is just watch them throughout the day, and think "what could i do to make their day easier" or "gee, it would be handy if he/she had one of THESE to make that easier.."... even something like a stapler, as an example, would work. Its dumb, but if they didnt have one, they would love to have one! Itd be usefull, not junk! Im not saying to get your teacher a stapler, but see what else could be useful to them. It doesnt necessarily have to effect the actual "teaching" experience either....

As a teacher, I would have to say that one of my favorite things to get from students are pictures. I love it when students have drawn their own pictures to show what they really enjoy that I have taught them. I also got some letters earlier in the year from some of my 4th grade students as part of one of their class projects. The project was called "I Appreciate You" and each student in the class had to choose one teacher that they have had over the years and write a letter about what they have done to help you as a student. I got two letters about a month ago and I think that was my best day of being a teacher :)

The more personal it is, the more it will mean to your teacher. I guess that's what it comes down to, in my opinion.
