Oh, rawr. Gas is going up again. Our barrel prices are going down. And, our prices are through the roof. Per gallon:

$2.35 - Spinx, Woodruff Rd.
$2.41 - BP, Woodruff Rd. & Five Forks

And the Citgo in Five Forks is close to $2.50...or so everyone said. $2.20. oO

So, what's up with you guys out there?

That is so cheap. You're lucky. We're paying US$2.62 (for Central Coastal California) at the cheapest. I totally agree with Paul that other places are much, much worse, but that is only because they are smart enough to encourage public transit. We pay a lot and have horrible public transit

About $2.46 now. I don't care, I'm not paying for it XD.

Gas prices here went up 7 cents over the course of 9 hours. Price during my evening commute = $2.56 per gallon

Same here. It's about $2.58 a gallon -- but... we live out in the middle of nowhere, so we have to go fifty miles before we can get to an actual town. *Shrug*

At least it's not three dollars a gallon, anymore. $2.58 is bad enough on us. *Shudder*

First chance I get I'm moving to Venezuela. XD

$2.39

I don't plan on driving anytime soon though. Transit is so much cheaper (and really not that much of an inconvenience.)

What the heck are you complaining about?

I totally just filled up my car today at $.97/L which is $4.32/Gallon.

And that was cheap, I've been filling up at $1.02/L lately, which is $4.54/Gallon

I'll buy a Spanish dictionary for the both of us.

But...it's higher than we've usually been, especially since we were under $2.00 only a couple weeks ago.

Google says...
$1.06 Canadian dollars / litre = $3.47375718 U.S. dollars / US gallon

And that's how much gas was yesterday. It's a little early for it to be going above a dollar...but since I'm still at odds with my parents over the fact that I don't want to drive yet and haven't learned, this doesn't quite affect me yet.

Interesting though. This number somewhat contradicts what Jen says. O_o

My gas is 10 cents cheaper per litre then Yoshis gas (you do the math). But it sure sucks.

My province produces the oil/gas. But we have to sell it to Canada and then buy it back, so we cannot reap the rewards of having cheap gas. Blast.

Hah! We're not even above $2.10! Sometimes it pays to live in the oil capital of the U.S. Also, for those of you who have crazy prices, it's probably because you have crazy taxes. Blame your elected officials.

Got ya. I'll apply your theory in the top down approach: President, Senator, Congressman, Governor, State Senator, and Assemblyman. (All but two are Republican). :P If they funded more alternative fuel programs like they promised, then gas prices would drop to stay competitive. I'm just another scientist waiting for our Hydrogen Economy.

Anyway, I would rather all of the extra cost for catalysts that help remove all of the pollutants from the burning of fossil fuels than have all of those nice pollutants wafting through our cities and towns and schools and parks and daycare centers. Best part about the high prices is that it encourages more public transit. The US needs higher prices like in Europe and Japan to force us to use more public facilities. (Don't mind my public transit kick. I just feel that we need a light rail or at least better bus service on the Central Coast :x :x )

Heh.. Yeah.. I didn't do the right math. I asked and someone told me it was 4.45liters/gallon, but it's only 3.7854118.

So.. In reality, for me it's 3.67/L. Oops.

But.. the answers still don't agree.

Right now it's about $2.35 a gallon where I live. But I remember when we went on vacation this summer to Canada, and we rented this big SUV for us to take, and my dad had to spend about 60 dollars each time he filled the gas tank up. D:
