Why? Because Chris is going out into a genre, in which to actually SELL you almost have to be a veteran, or be insanely good.
No, not really. Just about anyone can get into the rock scene, which is sad, but I'm just pointing the truth. Maybe to reach the fame of a band like Metallica, but seriously, there are tons of terrible garage bands around here that are really bad, and actually have a record deal. They may not be "famous" outsides the radius of a few counties, but all it really took them was popularity and a few concerts and they were practically in.

He also yells his songs, which is beyond annoying, and what everyone calls rock nowadays. And that annoys the hell out of me. Because some of the best rock artists didn't have to yell their songs, in some cases they belted, but not yelled. There is a HUGE difference between belting and yelling a song. And sadly to say, but Chris yells his songs, whil Katharine belts. No shreiking or anything. She might push her voice, but not yell it.
Wow, just wow. You seriously sound like you've never heard yelling in your entire life. Is that what you seriously call "yelling"? That's almost sad, because when you actually hear yelling, you may fall over and have a heart attack due to the sheer amplitude, as you weren't aware that such a sound so loud even existed. And, ironically, I have very sensitive ears, so loud noises are a no-no.
Listen to a Slipknot song if you want terrible "yelling", don't try playing that game. (not to mention that was basically summed up as "Chris yells and while Katherine does too, I'll call it something else") You seriously sound like you've never heard a rock song in your entire life.
Plus,
ALL singing that has any voice behind it
IS shouting, or how you like to word it "yelling".
P.S. My mother has told me to turn the television down the last 3 weeks when Katherine starts singing because, and I quote, "She's shrieking like a banshee". Coincidence? (nope)
