Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

No, I don't believe in fate. I believe we determine what will happen to us, and that everything and everybody around us affects the course of decisions we have to make.

I voted kind of.
I missed no.
No, I do not believe in fate. As I do not believe in anything. Except the Beatles.

I don't believe in fate. We must take responsibility for our actions.

Eh. I put kind of. Why?
I believe that if you do something, it will lead to other countless possibilities behind it, with others behind that.
Not exactly what I'm meaning to say, but I can't figure out how to word it correctly. *squints*

Ditto. I would prefer to believe that I have some control of my life and that I can
really make choices. That's not to say we have total control though, a lot of what happens to us can be a result of the people we meet too but their choices and how they impact on my life I don't regard as fate either.
I believe some things happen for a reason, some things just seem to fit and every so often when they don't seem to at the time, on reflection a few years later it was for the best.

I'm gonna jump on the "I don't necessarily believe in fate but I do believe things happen for a reason" bandwagon.

I'm waiting for him to come along and I believe that fate has already set the future out for me. I will either find him or I won't find him. Heck, fate could even kill me off tomorrow! I believe my future has been planned out from start to finish. Fate has determined if I'll get a boyfriend, get married, have kids, fate has determined how I die and what I die of, fate has determined everything. My mom says I'm being lazy and that I'm just letting the world pass me by as I wait for fate to unravel my life for me. What do you think? Do you believe in it too?
If you voted in either one of the last two options, try to explain fully why you chose that as your answer, just to make yourselves a bit more clearer and stuff

I do belive in fate. Not to the extent that I think my whole future is planned, but I do belive, that my future will be planned out depending on the choices I make.
I don't think that my life will unravel for me, I need to get out their and make my choices, which will decide what my fate is.

I voted 'kind of'. My reasoning is that I believe you make a lot of things happen for yourself depending on what kinds of choices you make. However, if the cat, for example, was not sick that day and you did not go to the vet's, you would not have met that guy/girl, and gone on to marry him/her and spent the rest of your life with him/her. In that way, fate sort of does play a part, I think.

There is no fate in the Shakespearean sense, but nature-nurture does come into play. However, I am a firm believer that a large part of our course is free will.

I voted "Kind of" because you have control over most of you own actions but things such as that of nature and natural disasters just happen due to fate(I guess?).

I don't believe in fate. I think it's a kind of a silly concept. That everybody's life, from beginning to end, has been predestined for them, and that this "fate" is just waiting for you to live through your pre-planned life?

I mean, there are a few things that are unavoidable, but most of what happens is because of how people think and act. We aren't just walking down some path that has already been constructed for us, we're building it ourselves as we go along.

I believe that we all have an ultimate destiny set out by the fates, but Juno will do her best to mess it up because she prefers Carthage.
Oh, wait...

Nope. Not really.
