Drop Dead Sexy

Straight to video movie with Jason Lee (My Name is Earl, almost every Kevin Smith movie) and Crispin Glover (The dad from Back to the Future, Willard remake, Thin Man in Charlie's Angels) about two would be criminals who wind up kidnapping a dead body and holding it ransom, though it was never their intention in the first place. I thought it was a pretty good, especially for straight to video. A bit of weird dark humor throughout it.

This movie was a huge hit for me because the two leading actors are my FAVORITE actors, and they're so completely different from eachother i'm suprised that they were in the same movie, even more so that they star in it together.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa (For the fifth time or so)

Fan-frickin'-tabulous. It's a mark of how incredibly awesome this movie is that I can watch it five times and cry at the end every time. The animation is beautiful, too. I hope they do another FMA movie, because I just don't want the series to end....-sigh-

I watched Advent Children with my best friend on Friday night, and I've watched it 3 times since then. I LOVE this movie! <3 I'd definitely reccommend it. It's hard to understand if you don't know anything about the Final Fantasy games - I never played them myself, but I know a little about them. They do give you a quick summary about the game, though, so it's really not all that confusing.

Advent Children was wonderful! I borrowed my friend's copy a week ago. The dub was terrible (my brother made me watch it in English), but once I saw the sub I was able to appreciate it more. The animation is beautiful generally, but Yazoo, Kadaj, and Sephiroth made my brain want to explode from the pretty <3

Now I haven't seen it yet but I just saw the trailer called, "The Prestige."

It is directed by the same guy who directed, "Batman Begins," and stars Christian Bale. It is a magic movie, a lil bit houdini, but with real magic in it as well.

I don't want to say to much about it other than go see it. Google or youtube, "The Prestige," and check out the trailer. You'll see what I mean and really want to go see it as well!

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen--- wasn't much else on last night :P I don't hate it, but I don't love it, either.

Pretty Woman.

I've only watched this movie, like, 30 million times. :P

Dubbed english never works out, as you never get what they are really saying with the limited amount of lip movement given versus the Japanese speaking. always go subtitle with forgien films. ;)

saw a flash cartoon making fun of this movie on newgrounds. it's a must see after watching the film in my reguards. shows you how bizarre it really is.

I only watched the English version - it bothers me if it's in a language I can't understand. That, and I'm too lazy to read the subtitles... :P

Posiedon. Bad movie, one disaster sequence after another with barely any character developing. Makes it hard to feel bad for any of them when you don't care about them.

High School Musical at the weekend. Fantastically cheesy, great catchy songs :D

School For Scoundrels

Despite the bad reviews floating around, this movie is rather enjoyable. However stupid it looks in the commercials, cut that down 1/4. My only complaint is it started out a little slow, and you're kind of wondering if it'll pick up or not... but it definetely does :D

Sommersturm. Frustrating, but cute. Great cinematography and fun sountrack.

Howl's Moving Castle a couple of weeks ago. It's just the cutest little film. :D

It's cute and human at times, but it can also be very ugly and rough, looking at a darker side of things. but it's what makes the package so wonderful, and enlightening. I heard it was originally a novel...yep, it was. ever wanting to read and understand it. :D
