Then I became a computer programmer... I've been stuck in front of a computer ever since.

I was just too good at computing compared to biology. Ach well.

All the usual, except

I wanted to own Ben and Jerry's real bad in the 4th grade.

Man, I still think that would be an awsome job..but Ive moved on to more realistic things

When I was little, I wanted to be a queen. Whenever I think about that, what instantly comes to mind is the fact that most little girls want to be princesses, not queens. I wonder if it's significant somehow, on a psychological level.

For a long time after that, I didn't know what I wanted to be, and I don't think I really cared.

In sixth grade, I was in a theater class at school, and then I knew I wanted to be an actress. I still do. I'm growing more and more pessimistic about it though.

Now I'm pretty much hoping for the lottery or something. I just can't think of anything "realistic" I'd want to be, and although I wouldn't get to act, I'd still have food and shelter and all that.

I've made one promise to myself though: no matter what happens, no matter how desperate I become...I will never, ever be a waitress.

Ohh shame. I wanted to be Maggie Thatcher... or a lollypop lady. Sad thing is, I'm being honest.

Oh my, there are so many things I wanted to be....

a waitress, a model, a gymnast, an ice skater, a veteranarian, a zoologist, a marine biologist, a lawyer, an economist, a paleontologist, a crime scene investigator, a musician, and a teacher

I have finally made a combination of the last two into my actual profession. Good times.

In Kindergarden, I wanted to be a ballerina.
But since adults often told me that they never became what they wanted to be, I had thought 'What's the point?' and stopped thinking about what I wanted to be

First I wanted to own a Chinese restaurant, then I wanted to be a vet, then I wanted to be a forensic scientist, then I wanted to be a writer, then I wanted to own a coffee shop, then I wanted to be a singer, and now I want to either act or fix people's computers.

When I was younger, I thought I wanted to be a rabbit, but since I realized that isn't going to happen anytime soon, I think being a psychologist sounds good...
