That's the predicament I am in now - do I blow my 90+ % battledome wins and maybe not receive plot points?

I just wish there wasn't so much guess work in the points/prize system.

If you were replying to me - I mean, to reduce his HP by one from losing the fight, do you have to get the "Mayor Thumburt weakens slightly, but absorbs all damage done to him!" message? If you do 0 hp "total" (i.e. by using no items or anything else that does damage), you don't get that message.

You can see all three in the "Opponents Found" link under the 1P Battles area. You can note the HP going down after each battle you play.

I apparently did 21hp damage to him.

He did 1430 hp damage ^.^;

It made sense to me. That's actually why I'm using my other pets instead of my battling one to fight now. I don't care what their BD scores are.

Not healing to full, either. As Sylence has already said, there's no point in doing so, since mine are KO'd in a single hit anyway. And as others have already mentioned, sink/burrow/shields/blockers don't help either.

EDIT: Whoo, saw him at 3400 HP even. This guy's gonna go down fast.

I wish rather than this "You fight, he loses a hit point" it was more of a "He loses the amount of hp that you deal" Like if you hit him for 30 hp it takes that many off his total ya know?

I was doing up to 45 damage on him with a scarab ring and an obscidian dagger on Fierce before I stopped, but his HP really does seem to be going down based on the number of losses and not HP removed (which... I don't know why I thought otherwise initially).

I don't care what Capi's personal score is (heck; I just started battling her a few weeks ago), but the score on my lookup is affected no matter which pet I use, hence my annoyance over the whole situation.

and even the basic potions are starting to rise on the wizards

SSHP's are over 2K why bother inflating someones wallet use yer cheapies guys nothing we do is working so may as well go cheap -ws-

But then he'll die too fast since many pets can hit for around 1000 damage

I wish this was like LDP, in that, you do a plot part. You get a useless weapon that still manages to kill the bad guy (yay!).

I was really hoping for a weapon in the cell. But speaking of the cell, you can't click on the to be continued sign.
