Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Favorite is May. My birthday aside, it's the one month where it's warm but slightly cool, instead of humid and disgustingly hot or absolutely freezing. Everything is pretty in May.
Least favorite... November. My god, this month has always sucked. It seems to be the one time when every teacher at school piles everything on you, and there's not really anything to look forward to- Thanksgiving is fine, but I could really care less, because right after the holiday even more work is given out at school. And due to the messed up weather here, November can either be unbelievably cold, or really hot.

Favourite: July. My birthday is in July, and it's warm... and sunny... and no school... Awhhh I hate winter.
Least favourite: Winter. But I love winter when it's snowing. But it never does in Holland

Never snows in Holland? Huh, I thought it would be just the right latitude to get a huge dump of snow every year. Ah well.
Favorite month is May, because that's when my crazy state gets out of school, and the weather is just hot enough, and the vegetation is reminiscent of the World of Balance.
Least-favorite month is September, for three reasons.

Hollands Climate wrote:If it wasn't for the Conveyer Belt the Netherlands, like the rest of northwestern Europe the climate would've been much more harsh than it's in its present day.
The climate is predominantly moderate: a northern maritime climate; prevailing winds from the south and west exercise a moderating marine influence, bringing an abundance of rain fall, mild Winters and mild Summers.
Scientists are debating on the effects the melting of the northern polar ice cap will have on the course and position of the conveyer belt. Fresh water (from ice) coming from the ice cap could press the Conveyer Belt out of its current direction and thus dramatically changing the weather in northwestern Europe.
Because of its small size and low elevations, the country's regional climatic differences are negligible. Temperatures average 17 deg C (63 deg F) in July and 2 deg C (35 deg F) in January.
Precipitation averages 762 mm (30 in) a year, is evenly distributed, and varies little from year to year, although lately extreme rainfall has been measured (1998: almost double average annual rain fall, 1200 mm = 472 in).
Frontal storms can bring rapid weather changes at any time but occur most frequently in the fall.
My favorite month? June. Least favorite? August. August is too hot. June is perfectly nice, pretty, leafy... August is just blorgh.

Conveyer Belt is presumably Brit-speak for Gulf Stream? Those crazy Brits. If so, I was taking it into account... just not the topography.

Worst one is September because you have to go back to school.
Best one is December because you get a long holiday and Christmas is in that month.
Wed Dec 27, 2006 2:59 am
My favorite would probably have to be December. December means Christmas and time out of school.
My least favorite is definitely February... or maybe August. August is when school starts back, and it's always miserably hot. February is a dreary month that manages to feel as though it's the longest even though it's the shortest, and of course, it has Singles Awareness Day (Valentine's)...
