Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Of course. I already know I'm getting Sennheiser earphones (those noise cancelling ones... for when we go overseas), several graphic novels (I think seven), a book, jeans, singstar 80s and legends, a PS2 game (probably marvel ultimate alliance)... that's all off the top of my head.
Oh, and a calendar.

Oooh, jealous! I want those Singstars
The fact I do not own a PS2 is of course, entirely irrelevant.
I can make a few guesses at what I'm getting, from the large hints I've been dropping (and my mum's interest), plus being told a couple of things

I like being surprised! Although my fiance isn't very good at keeping surprises from me...lol.

I don't go looking for them, but there have been times when I accidentally came accross them, and in those cases I did look. Curiosity is a difficult impulse to deny sometimes. I still said thank you enthusiastically on the day I received it.

No, unfortunately my family doesn't have the gift-giving tradition anymore (maybe the occasional "Oh, we'll buy you this for Christmas if you like and give it to you now"). But when we used to, I remember my sister forcing all of us to wait until Boxing Day to open our presents.

o.O Why?

I hate knowing what Im getting, and I reallly hate accidentally finding my presents. A week ago, my 6 year old sister looked inside an inconspicuous bag sitting by the living room couch and found 4 DVDs she knew I liked. She rushed upstairs and gave them to me, not realizing they were Christmas gifts since she still believes Santa brings the presents. It wasnt even my fault, but I felt horrible.

I did when I was little
I completely unwrapped a couple of my presents and wrapped them back
The suspense killed me then
but not now

I know for certain my parents haven't got me a present yet... They kinda left it last minute this year.

I ask for so little that I know what I'll get anyway.
Even had my mother say "You need to ask for more stuff!" This year.
Strange family, mine.

Used to, but I've gotten a lot better. I do still guess what wrapped gifts are (that's half the fun!), and if I see something I can't help looking (this applies mainly to customs slips as far as gifts from family go... =P), but I don't specifically look anymore.
Last year I was so good, but then I was given a big box of stuff to wrap (I wrap pretty much all the presents from anyone in this house, except the ones to me) and at the bottom there was an invoice for a chocolate fountain...so yea, spoiled that surprise a bit. XD

I used to peek, evne going so far as to unwrap and tape them up again. But I stopped that years ago. I think when you get older, and can buy what you want, it doesn't matter as much if you get it or not, you can always buy it yourself later.

Sometimes. Lately I haven't because I usually go with her and show her what I want for Christmas, and she buys it there. xD Occaisonally I'll get a little sneaky and peek in her closet to see if there's anything big there (like a Wii, but I haven't found a box that's close to that size so I don't think she got it for me).

Do I know it's from someone who'll just give me crap they got free? Yep.
