We've had a couple of flurries here, but nothing serious. I hope everyone in areas with lots of snow is okay. :)

The weather has been completely bizarre all winter. It was in the 70's here in December--which I definitely prefer to blizzards, but it's very strange.

It makes me laugh that:

1) the only two topics in misc disc that have any posts in them while i've been at work are purely people talking about the weather!! I thought that was supposed to be an English thing to do!

2) that huge parts of VIC in Australia have had power outages due to the heat, but parts of america have had outages because of the cold!

I want snow! It's crazy, we only have cold when we usually have a few blizzards by now. Yesterday's high temp: 15F.

I hate all of you with snow. Hate you with a passion. It hasn't snowed at all so far. At all. I live in Maryland, and we usually have had a lot of snow by this time. This year? NOTHING.

But noooo, everyone from California to Maine to freaking Texas gets snow and ICE STORMS. How cool is that? REALLY COOL.

WE GET WARMTH BECAUSE YOUR STUPID ICE STORMS STOLE OUR MOISTURE THUS NO SNOW. *hates you all* :(

I was told today that it was supposed to snow both tonight and on Monday.

I do not believe them.

If it does not snow, which it will not, I will gloat about this to them tomorrow.

Why I revel in my own snow-lacking misery, I do not know.

Ice storms aren't fun.

Ice storms=Forty-minute trip home from doc's office turning into four-hour trip.

Stupid Vancouver with so many stupid bridges every ten minutes.

If that's the worst thing that happened during the entire ice storm, consider yourself lucky. The last ice storm that came through here knocked most of the city's power out(a lot of people didn't get power back for a week or more), caused flooding in several places, and put so much weight on trees that a lot of them broke off major branches or fell completely apart, generally crashing into houses or bringing down power lines. They declared the city a disaster area and called in the National Guard.

It's not snowing where I am in California, although it does get below freezing in the mornings. It NEVER snows here. Actually, one time we had a storm with thunder and lighting, then we had hail, and then we had sort of snowballs that melted a few minutes after hitting the ground. It didn't cover the lawn or anything, there were just some snowballs about the size of tennis balls. That's the closest we've gotten. Lake Tahoe isn't too far away though.

I'm hoping it will though. Heck, it snowed in LA!

I just want snow now! I want this coldness to like...have a meaning. It hasn't rained lately though...
