Share secrets that you have learned at work or tips from friends.

For example: When a person says they'll check out back for stock... what they really do is go out back, grab a bag of pretzels... talk to their friends for a bit, then come out and say, "Sorry there's no more."

Hold onto your seats people... the SL is back.

At my camp if staff wanted a smoke break they'd say they'd be going for juice.
It was terrifying.
There was a lot of juice at camp. So sad. (I was not involved in the practice of 'juice').

heh, I worked with children at my last job, and it was just the funniest thing, seeing the staff members switch from outside the staff room door *cheery voice* "oh, what a wonderful picture, Johnny! Now why don't you go wash your hands and then you can give the picture to your Daddy!"
to inside the staff room door "I swear to god, if i see one more *bleeping* scribble from that *bleep* kid I'm gonna strangle him."

The second they walked in that door they'd go from sunny and smiling to looking like they'd been hit with the grumpy stick :P

Personally, I love children, so I never had that problem lol XD

We used to do just what Kym said, but only if we knew there were no more, it would prevent people from asking you to check out back and would also give you a reason to get off the loor for a few minutes!

Heh. I've seen lots of that. Generally though at the camp I worked at, if a kid was being a real snot, we'd inform the parents. After that, it was out of our hands. Bwahahaha. Apparently such conversations often lead to unhappy car rides home.

If your in a video store, and you see me staring at the computer and moving the mouse frantically - I'm playing games. Not working. I love that beautifully positioned screen (no internet on it, or I'd be here all day xP But you can play a rousing game of Hearts without the customer knowing)

Really evil? Or really funny?

I find that the two often go hand in hand myself.

I work in internet tech support...

We say: "May I place you on hold for a moment while I run some tests on your modem?"
We Mean: Bathroom break, or we're talking to someone we're sitting with.

Not too long ago I found out that hidden away on the In House server is a laaaaarge mp3 stash. Apparently employees occasionally bring in their CDs and rip them through iTunes (which we all have by default since we're all Mac users). That was a pretty cool discovery.

You don't want to know what I learnt while I worked at McDonald's. There is all sorts of strict regimes, etiquiette and rituals for getting the perfect burger, and some of them aren't of a civilised nature.

Of course, when I quit, I had to sign a bunch of documents saying I wouldn't tell anyone. ;)

Heh. You shouldn't be so decisive. I ate there all the time I worked. (Ignore the fact that I made the food myself. Minor detail.)
